"Merry Christmas, everyone." everyone greeted each other within their families and the other families.

The banquet hall is filled with Christmas decorations with a massive Christmas Tree on the side. Gifts are surrounding the Christmas tree. Different colors caress every side of the banquet hall. Tables on the side with a wide dance floor on the middle. They joyful atmosphere present in the air and as well as on the guests faces.

"Merry Christmas, Mr. And Mrs. McKenzie." Clark greeted December's parents, "Merry Christmas to you too, Clark. Why don't you introduce your boyfriend to our other relatives, December?" they told December.

"Please. Let me show you where my parents are first." Clark offered, "No need. We already saw them. Now get going you two."

December guided Clark to where her relatives are while holding his hand. They located them by the dance hall. Other are dancing, others are playing while others are giving the other their Christmas greeting.

"Hi everyone. I want all of you to meet my boyfriend, Clark Smith." all of her relatives stopped whatever they are doing and listened to December, "We have been going out for 2 months now but I liked him for 2 years."

"Wait do he's the guy you kept on telling us? The famous author of your favorite book?" one of December's cousins asks

"Yes. Yes he is." December answered then looked at Clark with a smile which Clark returned afterwards, "Come."

December introduced Clark one by one to her relatives starting from her cousins then to her aunts and uncles then lastly, her grandparents.

"This is my grandmother. She has a hard time seeing now but her memory is still fresh and strong. She is one of the reasons why I pursue volleyball." December half-knelt in front of her grandmother who is sitting on a wheelchair, grabbed her hand then spoke, "Hi, grandma. Do you still remember the boy that I always tell you? The boy that I am head over heels for 2 years? We are dating now, grandma. For 2 months. Here he is grandma. He is such an eye candy. He always takes are of me. There was never a day that he makes me feel unwanted. He always makes sure that I always feel wanted, that I should not feel uneasy and he always makes me feel that I am the one. I am sure that you would love him too, Grandma and I am sure grandpoppy will love him too." December says.

She grabs Clark's hands then places her grandma's hand on his, "Hi, grandma. I'm Clark Smith. Your grand daughter's boyfriend. Your granddaughter is the reason why I am still here. She makes me happy every single day and I can't repay her for everything that she had done for me but I promise you with my life that I will make her happy even more with every beat of my heart and every seconds, every hour, every year that past. My love for her will never change. Merry Christmas, Grandma." Clark kissed her forehand before rejoining December.

The grandma gestured one of the aunts to bring her her purse then grabs a phone with a paper taped on it and hands it to December and Clark.

"Grandma recorded this before for you and Clark." her aunt said.

When they played the audio. There played her wish for December and her gratitude for Clark.. She also told them her wish for their relationship and how happy she is that December found a very fine man and how Clark takes care of December. She also gave Clark her blessing for the wedding just in case she does not made it, according to her.

While listening to the audio some of the relatives especially those that are very close with their grandma teared up just a bit, just a little bit.

December gave her grandma a warm hug after the audio and the grandma hugged her back. Her grandma slowly raised her other hand towards Clark, gesturing him to join them and he did.
