"W-what are you doing, Clark?" December asks, completely tongue-tied and surprised at what Clark did.
Good thing there is no one in the line behind them or this is going to be embarrassing.
"Oh nothing I am so sorry." Clark quickly pulled away from December and faces the other way
"No it's fine." December answers while playing with her hair
"What in the name of Macaroni is wrong with my?" Clark asks
"What was that? If you were going to do that to me at least give me a heads up. I was not sweaty, was I? That was hot though. My heart is beating so fast right now." December says while trying to hide the smile on her rosey face
"Next please." The lady over the counter said. She's wearing a black short sleeve polo underneath a red velvet vest, "So what would the lovely couple want to watch this afternoon?" She asks
"The Divine Fury." Clark looks at December, "The Divine Fury?" December nods then Clark turned back to the woman over the counter, "Two tickets for The Divine Fury please."
"The Divine Fury it is." The lady says with a smile as bright as a clear like. She then faces a separate monitor at Clark and December's direction, shown here are the seats inside the cinema, "And where would you two want to seat? If I may, for the best viewing experience I suggest the seats at the 3rd to the last row up to the very last row. You can see the whole screen without any trouble and the audio is not that bad either. Not too loud and not too soft."
"Thank you." Clark tells the lady then turns back to December, "Where would you like to seat?"
"Anywhere is fine with me as long as it is within the 3rd row to the last and the very last row."
"Copy." The lady marked the seats that Clark pointed out to indicate that those seats are already taken.
"I can give you a discount if you like."
"Discount?" Clark and December asked in unison
"Yes. Today we have a promo for couples. You get 20% off if you are a couple." The lady said while grabbing the poster behind her, "You also get a big bucket of popcorn and a mega drink of your choice. So what do you say?"
"Hmmmmm."
"It would make your date better. Trust me." She tells them with a wink
"D-date?' Clark stuttered the he looked at December who is, again, hiding her smile.
"She said we are dating. So we do look like a couple!" What December is currently thinking of
"Are you not on a date together?"
"Yes. Yes. We are on date together right?" December asks Clark, trying to conceal her excitement.
"That's great. Since you are a couple then you would only pay this much. You can claim your popcorn and drinks by the food hub before entering the cinema. Just show them your receipt and You are all set."
They finished all the necessary transactions before entering the cinema. "Here you go, Ma'am Sir. Enjoy your movie."
The movie started when they got to their seats, "I guess we are just in time." Clark says
"You did not say anything when I told the lady that we are on a date together. Does that mean that this really is a date? Hmmmmmmmm" December teases Clark
"No it's just for the sake of the discount. Yes, the discount." Clark answers
"Hmmmm. Okay I guess it is for the discount." December says with a smile.
