December 8, 2020 in Clark's library at his home.

"Why don't you write a different genre for your new novel, Clark" December asks, reading one of Clark's Novels

"Like what?"

"Like romance." Clark stopped typing the instant he heard 'romance', "You always write about mysteries but the way you describe the couples are breathtaking. The ever-so-realistic backgrounds, deep, sensuous and vibrant psychological descriptions. There are many readers who want to see you write romance."

December stood up from her seat, "I would gladly want to be part of this story with you."

"You said you've never been on any dates before we started dating." Clark smirks

"No I haven't."

"......."

"Clark......are you listening?" December asks, noticing how Clark just stares at her

"Oh....does that mean......you want to write something erotic?" Clark askss with the most beautiful smile December had ever seen him make.

She could suddenly feel her face blush from what he just told her, "N-No. Just a romantic story. Something sad but makes your heart beat at the same time!" December answered, hiding her embarrassment with her hair

Clark reaches out for December's right hand, "What do you think makes a great story, December?"

"Authors being true to themselves?" December answered completely stunned by Clark's actions.

"That's necessary too. That's why experiences are important." December flinch as Clark intertwines his fingers with hers, "It makes stories realistic."

Clark stared at December whose cheeks are as red as her lips, "But what's more important is the imagination and....."

"And?"

Clark slowly brings December's hands to his lips as if to give it a kiss on the forearm, "Something that arouses the imagination....."

December swallows her dry saliva, her heart beating extremely fast, feeling Clark's cold breath at the back of her hand, ".....like desires."

Clark stares at December, now looking at her still blushing face, "Try imagining it." Clark asks, staring at December's emerald eyes, "What sort of relationship do you want to be in?"

"Sort of relationship.....I g-guess one with mutual respect and sense of security." December stutters as she let's the word out one by one.

"Pfffft boring." Once more Clark brings her hand close to his face, "You need something more raw, more passionate."

"Sorry?" December flinches as she felt the sensation of Clark's teeth lightly biting her index finger

"To make beautiful flowers bloom." He added before releasing her hand.

"Ah....ha......Clark?" December shudders

"Men would be all over you if you make that kind of emotion." Clark smiles while looking at December.

Trying to contain the smile eagerly trying to form on her face December grabs Clark's drink and finishes it off.

"Wait that's-" December slams the glass down, luckily not shattering it in her hand, "White wine."

"December.....are you-"

"You.....Pervert!" Clark just stares at December dumb-founded by what she called him.

"P-pervert? Me/ W-wha.....that hurts."

December stands up from her seat slamming the table once more, "Yes, I am popular but you who uses girls as an inspiration for your novels...."

"Woah." Clark for the first time, a girl sends shivers down his spine other than his mom.

".....is the worst."

"Then I guess you are the type to make serious mistakes when drunk." Clark leans back at his seat crossing his arms by his chest.

"CLARK!" Clark flinch making him sit straight while looking at the drunk December right in front of him, "You think I'm immature with all this idealistic images of a relationship even at my age, right?"

"Hey even I would not go that far." Clark says, defending himself

"Don't treat me like an idiot....." Clark's eyes follows December as she makes her way towards him, each step send shivers down his spine," I! READ! YOUR! BOOKS! BEFORE!" December shouts as she grabs Clark by the collar of his shirt.

"Hey wait. Where do you think you're-" He was cut off when December sat on his lap

"We'll incur the wrath of God...." December starts, holding Clark by the left cheek, "....she said as she stared at him, eyes filled with tears...." December then gazes at Clark's face, ".....fall to hell with me." she said with a calm and sweet voice. Leaning towards Clark's cheeks, giving him a kiss, "That first kiss..." their faces a few inches apart, ".....made them tremble with guilt and excitement. Knowing that they bit the forbidden fruit." December finishes.

What you just heard was a verse from Short Stories by Clark Smith, Night View Inside the Aquarium.

"Don't you dare look down on my literature experience."
