Twilight twitched, twinkled and tied the Moon to an endless strive, to make-achieve in the world of idle, daydream day-tide and desire for the taste of Summertime, Summer-light. Cresent-shaped celestial heaven of paradise, was the pilgrimage for the heart's polaroid, turning memories into silver stars of hopes held high in the world's compass. It was a night to behold, for Emmett was surely deliriously absorbed on the high that he had been with, in the form of that enrapturing stranger. He was newly emancipated, set free on some island of love-ire, and honey-ice, that was refreshingly euphoric to capture, especially when he was with him.
Silence, for once, was not bothersome to Emmett. As they drove down to some unknown place, they were unusually enveloped by a calmness that only brought serenity to their, tranquilly instilled surroundings. It was a first for Emmett, given he was never too fond of silence, especially when he was with someone intimidatingly devious since his awkward tendencies would eventually hike up, leaving behind a stuttering boy, too afraid of small talk, too unfocussed and inadept to do anything; or so he was until him. Him, he was his neverending dilemma, densely evoking emotions so strange and familiar, inhibiting a sense of newfound paranoia and Emmett was only going with the flow that he had charmed him with. Him, he mused, he meant so much to him that he'd never know, he sighed despondently.
"I take it you're awfully bored." He intervened.
"No, I was just...well, yes. I am a bit bored." Emmett confessed.
"Well, darlin', consider yourself to be lucky because we are here." He prompted, giving him his signature smile, as he brought his car to a swift stop.
Unexpected, it was unconditionally a surprise, for Emmett had never seen anything so beautiful in his life. Facing the famous Tay Rail Bridge that was all too far from where they were, was a little clearing, surrounded by a thicket of Scots pine, wildflower, sessile oak and willow trees, which were clumped profusely, like some spectators to a show that the bumbling boy had no idea about. Yet, this was not what he had imagined it to be. The view was striking, breathtakingly dramatic to an extent, specifically for Emmett since he had never seen the revered Tay Rail Bridge in such a picturesque panoramic, had it not been for the alluring stranger.
"Astonished, aren't ya? I had the same dumbfounded expression on my face when I had first seen this beauty." He softly emphasised.
"This is beyond anything that I have ever seen. How did you find it in the first place? These shrubs don't seem pleasant enough to let someone behold this magical sight, surely you would've encountered some troubles in getting here?" Emmett questioned curiously.
"That is true, but I have my ways, grey eyes. And there's always a way for you, you ought to make it come out of its hiding place by passionately workin' towards it, just like I did. Now, come on, this is not the only thing that I wanted to show you, there's plenty to explore here." He urged him as they quickly stepped out of the cherry-red vehicle.
"This is truly blissful, I quite fancy myself some peace and nature's love is but a blessing to be." Emmett stated, tentatively glancing around his surroundings.
"Aye! It is rejuvenating, is it not? I adore this place, it is my lil' secret, now our lil' secret. Just you and I, eh?" He asked in admiration directed towards him.
"Just you and I." Emmett reinstated with a fond smile.
"And we are finally here."
Emmett found it to be miraculously riveting, sensationally stimulating, and insanely invigorating. A cascading creek lusciously streamed towards the River Tay or so he assumed as he observed the moon-lit lustre vaguely dominating the lake's water, forming a shimmering sheen, that Emmett had a hard time in telling apart. As the stranger fetched something from a tree, Emmett couldn't help but smile a rare smile that only a few had the fortune to see, whilst marvelling at such an exotic site just as the stranger returned to him, with some berries closely clasped in his hold.
