(Third Person)

"Hey Taehyung, c-can I talk to you for a moment?" Jungkook nervously asked.

"Sure, let's talk on the balcony." Taehyung said.

"The sky is very pretty tonight," Taehyung said, leaning up against the railing.

"Yes it is," Jungkook said looking at Taehyung.

"Taehyung, I want to tell you something," Jungkook said, palms sweating.

"Yea?" Taehyung said, looking into Jungkook's eyes.

Jungkook stopped breathing upon seeing the moonlight reflect on Taehyung's face making his look even more ethereal than he already is.

"I-I really like you Tae, and I accept you as my mate," Jungkook truthfully but awkwardly said. Jungkook wasn't good at words, nor speaking out his feelings.

"I r-really like you too," Taehyung blushed, looking down.

"Really?!" The vampire king happily said, pulling Taehyung into a loving hug.

Taehyung nuzzled into Jungkook's neck while Jungkook stuffed his face in Taehyung's hair.

They pulled apart and stared into each other's eyes slowly leaning in.

Jungkook stopped an inch away from Taehyung lips, waiting to see if Taehyung would push him away but he didn't, so Jungkook leaned in and crashed their lips together.

Their first kiss.

~•The Next Day•~

*ALmost silent knocks*

Jin slowly creaked his head into Jungkook's room to see a sleeping Jungkook and Taehyung, all cuddled up.

Jin sighed.

He knew deep down in his heart that this would happen but Taehyung must do this for his own good and safety.

Taehyung's eye's fluttered open when he heard the gentle creak from the door being open.

He looked to the side to see Jin looking at him, signaling him to come outside and then he quietly left Jungkook's room.

Taehyung struggled to get out of Jungkook's iron grip. But he successfully got out leaving a whining but sleeping Jungkook on the bed.

"Jin Hyung?" Taehyung said walking out of the room.

"Oh hey, I-I have some news for you," Jin coughed.

"What is it?" Taehyung gulped.

"Bogum and Irene are coming for you in three days to take you home." Jin sighed.

"W-What, B-But," Taehyung stuttered.

"Taehyung you have to go with them, it's not safe for you to be here," Jin sadly said.

"I-I don't want to leave Jungkook, w-we confessed to each other last night, it was so magical." Taehyung said, eyes welling up with tears.

"I'm sorry Tae, but it's for your own good, in reality Vampires and Humans just aren't meant to be," Jin whispered, pulling Taehyung in for a hug.

"T-There must be something we can d-do," Taehyung sniffed.

"I'm afraid there's nothing we can do, if Jungkook and his father finds out that you are a human they would kill you in a heartbeat and Jungkook would feel betrayed," Jin said.

"M-My Jungkookie wouldn't d-do that," Taehyung cried.

"I'm sorry Tae," Jin comforted.

"Tae?" Jungkook's voice called out for Taehyung from the room.

Taehyung and Jin pulled apart from their hug.

"Go to him, you have three days, might as well make the best of it," Jin said, ruffling Taehyung hair.

Taehyung sighed and rubbed his eyes, putting a smile on his face before walking into the room.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Seo-Joon cooed seeing Jungkook and Taehyung walk hand in hand into the dining room.

Jungkook laughed while Taehyung blushed.

"We are together father," Jungkook happily announced kissing Taehyung's hands.

"I'm happy for you son," Seo-Joon smiled.

"You two look so good together, right Yoongles?" Hoseok smiled looking at a sleeping Yoongi.

"Let's eat," Seo-Joon chuckled.

Taehyung made sure to enjoy that meal because he knows that it would be one of the last meals he would have with Jungkook and Seo-Joon.

Taehyung knows that he must leave for his and Jungkook's own good. He didn't want Jungkook to hate him with his heart just because Jungkook found out that he is a  human.

Deep inside, Taehyung knows that Jungkook wouldn't hate him for that and he wants to stay with Jungkook forever and be happy. They were mates, they had to stay together.

But Taehyung knew the consequences and risks of staying.

He knows that by doing this, he would break Jungkook's heart and that was the last thing he would want but he has no choice.

Just as Jin said, Vampires and Humans just aren't meant to be.
