The remaining two days went by in a flash. Taehyung spent the two days cuddling, kissing and spending quality time with Jungkook 24/7. He knew that this day would come sooner or later so he tried his hardest to prepare himself mentally. But would it be enough?

"Hey Taehyung! Let's head downstairs to the castle graveyard, it's time to perform Jungkook's mother's death ritual! He is already waiting for you," Hoseok said, knocking on Taehyung's door.

"O-Oh, I-I'll be down in just a second," Taehyung breathed out.

Taehyung took a deep breath as he thinked back to the conversation he and Jin had this morning.

"I told your Hyung and Noona that the best time to come for you would be directly after the death ritual while Jungkook is busy with his father," Jin explained.

"Jin I-I," Taehyung stuttered.

"Taehyung, trust me, you are doing the right thing," Jin comforted.

"I love him," Taehyung said in a broken voice.

"I know you do, but this is something you have to do for your own good and safety," Jin said.

"Mom, this is Taehyung, my mate. He is the most sweetest, kind and beautiful person ever," Jungkook said, holding Taehyung's hand while looking at his mother's photo.

Taehyung gulped and walked closer to the picture and kneeled down.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung and gestured for him to say a few words.

Taehyung gulped and slowly took a few steps closer towards the picture.

Just as Taehyung was about to speak, loud thunders errupted and everything went dark.

"J-Jungkook?!" Taehyung said trying to find Jungkook, unable to see.

Taehyung felt someone grab his arm and assumed that it was Jungkook and held on to the person.

But it wasn't Jungkook.

Taehyung felt the person quickly pull him away. He was unable to hell for help since there was a hand over him mouth.

The person stopped pulling Taehyung after they reached some distance and came in Taehyung's view.

"Bogum hyung?!" Taehyung said shocked.

"Taehyung we have to go now, now is the chance to leave, let's go." Bogum said panting.

"Quick we have to go now, Irene is waiting outside for us," Bogum said, covering Taehyung and himself.

"B-But," Taehyung stuttered.

Taehyung didn't even get to give Jungkook one last hug. One last kiss, one last goodbye.
