A/N: here's chapter 17 for ya guys.

With Halibel

Halibel walked out to the arena and as she stepped up onto the stage her attention turned to her opponent only to see that it was Izumi. Halibel looked Izumi right in her eyes as she asked. "Are you ready Izumi"? Halibel's tone was slightly cold, this caused Izumi to flinch slightly. Halibel shook her head as she rushed towards her green and black haired opponent and threw a powerful right straight to Izumi's jaw and followed it up with a spinning side kick to Izumi's mid section, this knocked Izumi off of her feet and caused her to skid across the arena floor and nearly eliminating her.

"Get up Izumi, this is just a pathetic display. You might as well quit now, you'll never gonna be a hero at this rate". Halibel's tone was once again cold however instead of flinching under Halibel's gaze and the tone of her voice, Izumi kipped up and got into her fighting stance and yelled back."I will not quit! I've come too far and trained too hard to just quit now"! Halibel let out a short chuckle as she pointed a finger at Izumi and charged up a small ball of yellow energy."Bala"! Halibel yelled as she fired the small ball of yellow energy at Izumi who just about dodged the attack and while she was on one knee extended her left arm forward and flicked her finger as she yelled."Delaware Smash"! A pressurised wind blast shot towards Halibel who easily dodged it and rushed towards Izumi.

With Grimmjow

"This is gonna be interesting". Grimmjow said as he observed the match between Halibel and Izumi. Nel who was sitting next to Grimmjow just nodded her head in response, however Grimmjow took a quick glance to the other side of him to see a rather dejected Momo. Grimmjow smiled to himself as he leant towards Momo and swiftly picked her up and put her on his lap, this action caused Momo to let out a small squeak but when she realised the position she was in a massive blush was in her face."G-Grimmjow w-w-what are y-you d-doing"? Momo stuttered as Grimmjow chuckled to himself as he gave Momo a kiss on the cheek."You know I love you Momo". Momo's blush grew worse as she replied."I-I-I l-love you t-too". Grimmjow smiled to himself again as he said."I just thought I'd let you know". Momo nodded her head as a question popped into her head and she decided to voice it."Are you trying to cheer me up Grimm"?

Grimmjow once again kissed Momo on the cheek and replied."Of course. I'll always prefer your smile to your frown. If you want after this is all over we can do some training". Momo nodded in agreement as Nel looked at the pair and smiled to herself."I better get some training time with you as well Grimm". Nel spoke with a flirty tone as Grimmjow laughed while replying."I'll always have time to train with you".

Back to Halibel vs Izumi

Halibel skidded backwards as Izumi rushed her down a threw a jumping roundhouse kick that Halibel ducked under and when Izumi's back was to Halibel she countered by sweeping Izumi's legs out causing the green and black haired girl to trip. While Izumi was tripping Halibel then delivered a crane kick to Izumi's back sending her across the arena, as Izumi then sprung to her feet and narrowly avoided a knee to face courtesy of Halibel and then tried to sweep Halibel's legs but the blonde haired female jumped in the air to avoid the attack but to turn her defensive move into an offensive move Halibel tried a double stomp but Izumi rolled out of the way and scrambled to her feet and charged at Halibel and yelled."Detroit Smash"! Izumi landed the power straight left to Halibel's jaw sending the blonde haired female flying across the and landing hard on the ground.

"Halibel can you..."? Midnight's words died in her mouth as Halibel stood up without a scratch on her as she gave Izumi a sly smile."Is that all Izumi"? Halibel asked as Izumi prepared for another Delaware Smash but Halibel rushed towards Izumi and pushed kicked her in the chest and followed it up by dropkicking Izumi which sent her out of the arena."Izumi Midoriya is eliminated and the victor of this match is Tia Halibel"! Midnight yelled as the crowd roared in appreciation with Halibel picking up the unconscious Izumi to the infirmary.

With Grimmjow and Nel

"Why didn't Izumi's final punch not hurt Halibel"? Momo questioned as Nel explained."It was Halibel's Hierro, its a technique that me, Grimm and Halibel share that makes our skin super tough and helps reduce damage of incoming attacks". Momo nodded however Shiho then asked."Is that Cero and Bala a technique you share"? Grimmjow nodded in response as Nel stood up and said."Well it's my time to fight". Nel's tone was energetic as Grimmjow chuckled as his green haired girlfriends nature.

With Nel

"Halibel"! Nel yelled as she ran towards the blonde haired female and jumped at her embracing her in a tight hug."Hello to you too Nel, ready for your fight"? Halibel asked as Nel nodded in response, Halibel gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and said."Good luck Nel, if you do well then I'll give you a reward". Nel blushed slightly as she ran towards the arena.

A/N: and that concludes chapter 17 for ya guys, hopefully ya guys enjoyed and I'm sorry for the shorter chapter. I'll try and make it up in the next chapter.
