After approved by R.J. to search Ezra's office, Scarlet and Butch proceed in doing so. They wore gloves as to not contaminate anything.
"So what did happen, Scarlet?" he asks. "Did you turn into a werewolf when fighting the zombies?"
"I did," confiding she says. "I seriously have to find material that will stretch when I transform. I'm going through my clothes doing so."
"Well, you were right to believe that Ezra was dark," Butch admits. "R.J. confirmed that fact."
"I do have to say though," making conversation as she searched Scarlet replies, "that is a bit unfare to not allow him to experiment. He is working in a lab facility after all."
"Yes, that is unfare," he agrees. "Though, it sounds like he already has done an unauthorized experiment that caused a pandemic."
"We do not know for sure yet," assuring she says. "Once we find proof, then we can accuse."
Butch walked over to a filing cabinet. He opened the top drower which he began to filter between the files. If Ezra hid any possible evidence, it would be between the files. Just then, a rat hopped out, startling Butch, before landing on the floor and scurrying out of the office.
"Seriously," he comments with exasperation. "Why do we always run across rats anytime we are here? R.J. really needs to consider an exterminator."
Scarlet was at Ezra's desk searching there. She was seated in his chair. Scarlet searched the top of his desk first. In the pencil holder, between notebooks, anywhere possible. She then opened the left drawer to his desk.
Scarlet filtered through papers and books. There was nothing. She then opened the right drawer. Scarlet began to rumage through more paper and books. Suddenly, she stopped after seeing something, that caused her to stare in appall.
Butch was still looking through the filing cabinet. He was down to the last cabinet on the bottom. Butch though, after a while of rumaging, closed the cabinet door.
"I found nothing in the cabinets," he informs. Butch then sees his partner's expression. "What? What did you find?"
Scarlet reached into the drawer grabbing the object. She then pulled out the object which was pried between her fingers. It was a vile full of blood! Whose or what blood, Scarlet was uncertain.
      "Is that..."
"...blood," half-interrupting she says. "Yes. This is blood for sure."
"Whose though?" he asks with curiosity.
"I am not sure?" answers Scarlet. "It could be from a human or it could be animal blood?"
"Great! So we have to wait until morning to know?" Butch responds with exasperation.
"Actually, we could see if George does not mind stopping by tonight?" implying she replies.
"First, let's drop off R.J. at the hospital," he instructs. "I know I stitched his leg but I prefer the professionals take a look at it."
"That's understandable," agreeing with her partner Scarlet responds.
She places the vile in an evidence bag before carefully wrapping it up. Scarlet placed the bag in her front pocket to her pants. Butch looks at his partner confused.
"I don't want R.J. knowing about the vile of blood yet," she explains. "Not until we are certain."
      "Fare enough," understanding he responds.
Scarlet with Butch following stepped out of Ezra's office. R.J. looks at them with hope.
"Find anything?" he asks with curiosity.
"We might have found some evidence," is all she tells the manager. "My partner and I are going to take you to the hospital."
"He already took care of me though?" R.J. responds perplexed.
"It is for caution to be on the safe side," assures Butch. "I may know a little about medical help but I am not a professional."
      "Okay."
He once again helps R.J. onto his feet and walks beside him. Scarlet was in the lead as she strolled along in the lab. Before they stepped out, R.J. halts.
"I have to lock up the lab," he explains.
R.J. has Butch help him over to a pannel. After opening the pannel, he punched in a code to the code box. He then closed the pannel once an animatronic chirp echoed.
They then walked through the entrance and outside. The doors were locked now which they headed for the van. Once R.J. was helped into the back seat, the van then took off from the lab.
Little did anyone of them knew that the one zombie was there. He watched as the van drove off disappearing. The zombie then hobbled on his hands and feet to the lawn. He looks up where the window that was shattered was.
The zombie braces himself then lunges upward. He does his best to stay on the wall as he found places to grip. The zombie scales the wall all the way up to the shattered window. He crawls through which he then hobbles on his hands and feet.
The zombie eventually came to the office that Scarlet, Butch, and R.J. were in. He stepped into Ezra's office which his nostils flared. The zombie hobbled to the chair climbing on. He kept on smelling the air. The zombie then knocked over the plack reading: Larson, Ezra on it.
Behind the plack that Scarlet had not thought about was another vile. The vile of blood was taped securely on the back. He sniffed the vile then made a gurgling sound almost growling. The zombie then snatched the vile in his hand.
He hobbled out of both offices and back to the lab where he came from. The zombie climbed onto the frame to the broken window. He looks down which he places the vile between his rotten teeth. The zombie then throws himself out of the window. He lands on the ground with a hard thud! and tumbles.
The zombie though was not fazed by the impact. Still clutching the vile in his teeth, like a dog with a bone, he hobbled about. The zombie began to leave the lab when a car pulled up. He rushed to some bushes before looking at the car.
Stepping out of the car was Ezra who had no idea about the zombie. He strolled to the side of the entrance and punched in a code. The automatic doors open which Ezra disappears inside. The zombie decided to leave seeing that Ezra would not see him.
