Notes: yayyy. Finally a long one.

Bruce, Tony and Rocket had finished creating the glove. It was time.

Natasha wiped her eyes and went to stand next to Steve, who gave her a reassuring tap on the shoulder.

"Now, who's going to snap their fricking fingers?" asked Rocket.

"I'll do it!" said Thor

"No!"

"No, No, No."

"No."

Thor didn't seem pleased with the negative feedback.

"We haven't decided who's gonna put it on yet."

"I'll do it." said Bruce.

Natasha turned to him.
"Are you sure?"

"Look, you saw what those stones did to Thanos. They almost killed him. None of you could survive something like that."

"He's right." said Tony

"How do we know if you'll survive it Bruce?" asked Nat.

"We don't," he replied, "but it's the best shot we have."

"Remember, everyone Thanos snapped away five years ago, we're just bringing them back to today. Don't change anything from the last five years." reminded Tony.

"Got it." Bruce replied

Everyone got into position. Natasha stayed close to Steve, who then put up his shield.

All the window shields went down, and everyone began to brace themselves.

Bruce put on the glove, and was immediately put in pain.

Natasha wanted to go and help him, but Steve held onto her. And wouldn't let go.

Bruce began to yell in pain.

"Take it off! Take it off!" yelled Thor

"No, wait! Bruce, are you ok?" yelled Natasha.

Bruce yelled a bit more before saying slowly,
"I'm ok."

Everyone tensed down.

Bruce stood up slowly, still screaming. His hand formed a click shape and then...
He snapped

Bruce was crumpled up in pain on the floor. Natasha had rushed over to him, as Tony cooled his arm.

"Did it work?" He croaked as he took Natasha's hand.

"We're not sure. Just keep breathing."

Bruce let out a grunt of pain, as the windows slowly reopened.
"You did good Bruce." said Steve, kneeling down next to Natasha.

Natasha turned to see Scott staring out the window.

"You ok Scott?"

He didn't answer. He seemed mesmerized by the outside

"Scott?"

"Guys." He said in a soft voice.
"I think it worked."

Natasha smiled. For a shining moment, everything was perfect again.
But only for a moment.
