Notes: um yeah. I have nothing to say

Natasha tried her hardest. She was slicing, deflecting, and stabbing. Trying everything she could to make him vulnerable.
It wasn't until the third try however, when she began to doubt her plans. Thanos had Thor cornered. Natasha was on the ground, nose bleeding , head throbbing.
Thanos had his blade and was about to plunge into Thor's chest.
Natasha couldn't watch. If he killed Thor, then they were doomed.
She expected to hear his cry. But she didn't.
Slowly looking up, she saw Mjolnir flying into the hands of one Steve Rogers.
"I knew it." Natasha muttered before falling unconscious once more.

Steve felt his heart sink. He'd fought against Thanos with all the strength he had. But even with Mjolnir, it was futile. Thanos had his army. He had himself. Just one man against the world.
The idea of surrender was about to cross his mind, when he heard a voice going off in his ear.
"Cap, can you read me?"
No, it couldn't be.
"Cap? Cap? It's Sam?"
Sam? No. It-
"On your left."
Steve turned, and his mouth turned into a slight smile. A portal was opening, and Black Panther, Okoye and Shuri stepped out. Steve gave a nod to T'challa. Suddenly, Sam swooped out and Steve found himself smiling again.
Soon, more portals began to open and his fellow avengers came out, all slowly, including Wanda, Peter, and Bucky. They were alive.
His hope was ignited.
He felt someone beside him. He turned back to see Natasha, her plaits in disarray and blood coming from her nose, but with a smile on her face.
"You ok Captain?"
"Oh better then ever."
He smiled back.
The avengers all got in one formation.
Natasha took out her swords, but before getting in position, gave Steve's free hand a squeeze.
"We've got this Steve." She assured him.
He grinned.
"Yeah we do."
He turned back to Thanos and his army, who suddenly didn't seem so confident.
"AVENGERS!"
Natasha took her hand away, and prepared herself.
Steve took one last look at her before he spoke again.
"Assemble."
