Shirabu's POV

God, why did I have to be roomed with Daichi Sawamura? I thought. I mean, yeah, he's generally nice to everyone but... 

Reminds me of bad memories. 

-Flashback- 

"I'm so sorry Ushijima-senpai. It's my fault we lost the game and-"

"Stop right there. Shirabu, we aren't blaming anyone. It's not your fault. They..." Ushijima searched for the right words. "Just happened to be the better team." Tendou said the one thing nobody wanted to hear after losing to Karasuno. "But... That tall first-year middle blocker got the better of me... I'm sorry again. I'll... take my leave now." 

"....What? Shirabu-san, you can't be serious!" Goshiki said, throwing himself in front of me before I could reach the exit. "Yes. I am. Now please move." I replied, shooting him a signature salty glare. I pushed past him and walked out of the Volleyball Clubs' gym. "Shirabu, wait!" I turned around and saw the whole club tromping after me. I started to run and darted left, avoiding further questioning. I kept running and running, until I noticed they weren't behind me anymore. I breathed a sigh of relief, but put my guard back up when I heard a pair of footsteps behind me, approaching fast. I noticed I was at a dead end and whipped around. 

I couldn't see the persons' face because of the backlight, but he took short, quick steps toward me until he was right in front of me. "Wh- What do you want, creep?!" I hissed. "Oh, nothing much." said a distorted voice. "All I want... Is to spread the influence of vampires." 

"Of... Of what?" I said, incredulously. Did he break out of a mental hospital or something? I thought. But that was the last thing I thought before I blacked out. 

Later, I woke up in my room. A few months ago, I thought that was just a dream. But I knew it was real when I started to manifest sharper canine teeth, and my eye color (A/N: I'm not from the U.S but I still spell 'color' like this. Idk why.) would sometimes flicker from my normal brown eyes to a deep blood red. 

(A/N: I never know how to end these sort of chapters. Hm. Oh well.)
