Semi's POV
-Flashback-
I knocked on the door of my assigned dorm. "Hello? Anyone here?"
"One minute, please!" a voice called out. I sighed. I forgot my dorm key at the office and was not going to go back down two flights of stairs and get it. "Ah, sorry for the wait. Just had to set up-..." he faltered, and I understood why. The guy was a stunt double of me. Maybe a little shorter, with a lighter shade of sliver hair. "Oh, wow. You-" He interrupted me, finishing my sentence. "-Look exactly like me!" (A/N: Okay anyone else think finishing other peoples sentences exactly is kinda creepy-ish?)
-Timeskip-
I learned his name was Koushi (A/N: Did I spell that right?) Sugawara. After he helped me settle down a bit, we started talking. About volleyball, our interests, and what we wanna do with life. While we talked, I noticed a few things about him. So, I decided to try and test something.
"So, Suga, how's vampire life treating you? Been one long?"
"Eh, nothing major has happened. But yeah, I've been one since- Wait, what?"
I grinned. Guess I was right. "Don't worry, it's fine. I'm one too. Didn't take long to figure out you were like me." Slowly but surely, he smiled. "Nice to know I'm not alone. How long have you been... You know?" I chuckled. "You can say it out loud. It's not like anyone can hear us. Anyway, I've been one from birth! How about you?" He looked surprised. "Wow, you've been one long. I became one around, oh, I dunno, my last year of middle school? I skipped my first year of high school because I couldn't get the hang of controlling my shapeshifting. My mom helped me, she's one too."
"Wow, really? Just one other? My whole family are vampires." I grin sheepishly.
After that, we talked about times when we got out of control, past life, stuff like that. This was... Kind of nice. Having someone to talk to that knew what I am, someone other than my family.
