Daichi's POV
"Yep.. Mm-hmm.... Yes, Mom! I told you, Hikaru and Rei are fine. Kasumi is watching them..... Yeah, I'm doing great! Unpacking now... Yeah, sure.... Okay, love you! Bye Mom!"
I sighed. Mom called almost three times a day, ever since the doctors said she had to stay at the hospital for a while. She was probably driving Kasumi-chan insane right now. Hearing a click of a door opening, I whirl around. "Ah... Hello. I'm Sawamura. Daichi Sawamura. And you?" He bowed politely. "I'm Shirabu. Kenjiro Shirabu."
(A/N: Lol I head to recheck the dorm arrangements three times because I kept forgetting who Daichi was rooming with QwQ")
"So, uh... You wanna take the left or right side?"
"I'll take the right, thank you."
After that, an uncomfortable silence settled while we unpacked. This was gonna be a long year. After a while, we finished simultaneously. but before I could speak he left in a hurry.
Since I had the room to myself, I took the time to look around. Shirabu-san's side didn't have many decorations. He just put a couple books onto his desk and his clothes into his closet and... That was it. Did he not have anything else? Posters? Some thing? (A/N: Yes. Very subtly hinting again at more future angst.)
-Time Skip-
The next day when I wake up, Shirabu-san is long gone. I wonder what's up with him, I thought. Sighing, I pushed the thought in the corner of my mind. Oh well. Just get ready for school, Daichi. Worry about that later. Stepping out if my room into the boys' dorm hallway, a flash of silver hair darts past me, and I have to grab (A/N: the fourth-) wall to avoid tumbling to the ground. Huh. I look down the hallway, but he's already gone...?
(A/N: Sorry. This is sort of a filler chapter. I know there haven't been many mentions of vampires yet, but I promise things will get more interesting in Chapter Seven! In an angsty way. >:3)
