As I promised Hak to stay safe, both Shin ah and I made our way over to where we heard the scream of the girl from earlier.

"Can you see anything up ahead Shin ah?" I glance over at him.

Nodding his head he stared out ahead of him. We started walking to whatever he was seeing until he saw something making him stop dead in his tracks. He grabs onto my wrist and drags me in the opposite direction of where we were walking in fear of being caught.

"What are you doing??"

"...there are fire soldiers nearby" he whispers.

I smile as he pulls me along hiding both of us in a large fluffy bush. As we sit and wait, I look down at my wrist and see his fingers still laced around it.

'I guess he does care huh~'  sweet thoughts flood my mind.

Shin ah notices he was still holding on to my wrist and that's when I feel him let go and pull his hand back to his side.

We stay quiet, a little awkward, but quiet. Waiting patiently for the soldiers to make their way past us so we can go to our original destination, I begin to get bored.

"Are they close?" I whisper.

"Yes... they're passing now" he whispers to me with his hand slightly adjusting his mask.

As he says that, I start hearing the heavy footsteps of the soldiers finally walking past after taking forever.

13 soldiers pass.

"Yeah, apparently they say she is dead now."

"What about the other 2 who were with her?"

"I'm not sure... all I know is that the others who were there saw it happen and they say all three of them fell off the cliff, supposedly dying."

"Let's hope she IS dead because if not... I know damn well she's capable of killing multiple men just with her hands... no telling what she could do with a weapon."

"If she hadn't been there then so many more men would be alive right now."

'Are they talking about me?'  I think while still listening.

"What was her name again?"

"I think they say it was {y/n}"

'Definitely me.'

As my name harshly escapes the lips of one of the men walking past, Shin ah whips his head around and stares at me. I'm sure he's wanting an explanation but right now I can't exactly give him one.

We wait a couple more minutes until Shin ah nods his head confirming the soldiers are finally gone.

Both of us quickly emerge from the bush we were hiding in and start running towards where Shin ah was taking us originally which is where we heard the girls scream from before. More soldiers make their way towards where we are.

Where Shin ah leads me is near the town just not in it. It's like this is connected to the town on the outside by merchant shops and houses.

"Where are we?" I look over at Shin ah who is just as clueless as me.

Shrugging his shoulders he tells me that he doesn't know either. I forget that he was raised in a cave basically his whole life, so asking him where he is or what he thinks something is... is pointless.

We walk around town not worrying about a thing until we hear yet another scream, but this one is surprisingly close to where we are.

Looking around I see a girl near 2 fire soldiers struggling to get away.
