Lisa - Cat Café I (M Reader)

"Y/N, the litter boxes need to be changed!"

"On it boss" you replied with a smile, secretly grumbling inside that it was always you who had to change the litter boxes, not to mention basically every other job none of the other staff wanted.

I guess that's the drawback of being the newbie, you thought as you scooped out the dropping and scrubbed the box with soap.

You'd gotten a part time job at a cat café in Seoul in between your college classes. You were currently an international student at Seoul National University studying Korean, and you'd been delighted at getting the job at the café. You loved cats and thought talking with the customers would be a great way to practice your Korean. However, you were mostly stuck doing unpleasant chores like this.

You finished washing out the litter box and poured fresh litter inside, then returned back to the main area of the café where customers were playing with the cats.

"Good Y/N, now if you don't mind the floor needs sweeping as well."

"Of course sajangnim" you replied politely, wishing that one day maybe your grumpy boss would let you help handle the cats.

After another afternoon of running around doing errands for the boss it was finally time to pack up and go home. The café closed fairly early at 4:00 pm so you were looking forward to going home and relaxing, since you'd had a morning packed with difficult college classes and then worked all afternoon. However, it seemed like your luck was about to get worse.

As the last customers left, your boss gathered all the staff with a tired expression on his face. "Everyone, the owner has just called to inform me a private party has booked the café for this evening."

You looked around to your co-workers, who all seemed as surprised as you were. You'd never known the café did such a thing.

Your boss continued, "I know, this is an usual circumstance we don't usually do this. I'm not sure who it is or why this has come up suddenly, all the owner has told me is that it's top priority. We need at least one person to stay late, and then lock up after they leave. Any volunteers?"

There was silence from you and your co-workers; it seemed like everyone just wanted to go home.

"Please, someone" your boss pleaded. "I can't stay late, I have to take my kids to swim lessons."

You suddenly noticed that everyone was looking at you - as if you hadn't done enough already.

"I'll do it" you said finally, giving in to the pressure you felt.

"Great thank you Y/N. I don't think there's many people, only like five so you should be fine on your own" your boss said, relieved.

He gave you instructions and soon everyone had left, leaving you alone with the cats. You played with them for a while, happy at least you could finally got a chance to do that.

Suddenly you heard the front door open and the bell on it ring. You stood up for a moment and were shocked to see Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rosé step through the front door. In other words, Blackpink was in your area.

You couldn't believe it - just a minute ago you'd been feeling like the unluckiest person on earth, but you'd just turned into the luckiest. You were too shook at first to greet them and were so nervous about what to do that you just turned back to the cat you were petting. Ahhh what do I say, you thought, panicking internally.
