"I am so sorry." You bowed a perfect 45 degree angle at Overhaul.

It had been three days after the failed operation. Three days since Overhaul got yelled and hit by some medical equipment he did not know the name of due to your gay friend. Not expecting him to be a doctor, the look of utter rage and murder in Gei's eyes was enough for Overhaul to cover his face as he got slapped repeatedly.

"AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE SOME STRONG YAKUZA MEMBER?!" Gei shrieked at the sight of his adorable but badly bleeding bestfriend admitted under his care. "YOU. DON'T. DESERVE. HER!"

Was he scared that Overhaul would use his quirk on him? Heaven's no. He may not have a quirk like him but he could easily knife chop the shocked man into the other world.

"Gei." Tsukauchi tried to grab the rampaging doctor's arm but backed away when he was sent the 'touch me and you're next' glare. "In his defense, he was the one who closed her wound and carried her to the ambulance."

"THAT IS NOT MY POINT, NAOMASA!" Both men shivered at the pitch of his voice. "IF you hadn't been such a drama bird for the past few days, little (n/n) over here wouldn't be in the state she's in!" Hitting the shook villain, he continued. "You don't think I DON'T KNOW what's going between you two?!"

"That's..." Overhaul managed to shield his mask. Otherwise it would have landed on the ground harshly. "That's because nothing is going on!"

"OH HELL NO!" Throwing his stethoscope to the empty sofa, he rolled up his sleeves and took confident steps forward. Whirling the medical equipment in the air, the sound of an echoing bonk filled the room. Knowing Overhaul was in an unstable position, Gei grabbed him by the wrist and tossed him like a ragdoll.

"Holy quirk gods..." Tsukauchi uttered in fear as he watched the whole scene unfold.

"It's quite refreshing actually." Chrono, who had remained observant this whole time, replied silently. He too was not expecting the ever so flamboyant man to easily flip his boss like that. Of course, the doctor was much buffier than Kai. It wasn't all too surprising.

"YOU PLAY WITH MY BABY GIRL'S FEELINGS, THEN I'LL PLAY WITH YOURS!" Walking over to the table, Gei took a hold of the documents. Scribbling pretty letters onto the doctor's advice panel, he threw the papers in front of Overhaul along with the pen. "You, Overhoe, will be assigned caretaker of (l/n) (y/n)."

"I don't think we c-"

"Are you questioning my authority, Naomasa?" Gei raised a fleek eyebrow. "As the attending doctor to my poor friend, I can write and choose whoever is fit to be her caretaker."

"Bu-"

"Tsukauchi Naomasa." Each syllable was enunciated in the most passive aggressive way.

"Overhaul." He faced the villain with utmost pity. "I'm afraid I have no say in this."

"Now either you sign it or I will bring you to that one moldy vending machine and wipe it clean using your face."

"Damn. He's a feisty one." Chrono commented enough for Tsukauchi to hear. Despite him wearing the mask, the two men made eye contact.

"If he won't sign those papers, he'll get more."

And so on his knees, Overhaul signed the papers.

Waking up one fine morning with your body still in pain, only to find him wearing sweats and a black shirt in your kitchen trying to figure out how to turn on your stove was shocking. Him not wearing a mask aside, you remained glued to your spot before Overhaul relayed what happened while you out cold.
