Go Away, You Idiot!

Anna waited a few minutes before going to eat something, after all she was starving and couldn't refuse Thomas's offer. From the garage she entered in a small hallway and after she got in the living room. It was a beautiful house, decorated with a lot of taste, in a modern way. Her attention was caught by two photo frames, Anna approached and studied the photos.
In the first it was Thomas hugging from behind a gorgeous woman. She had dark hair, green eyes, a perfect smile, they were both laughing and looked to be in love. In the second photo the woman was kissing Thomas' cheek and he was smiling. The woman looked perfect again, she had a beautiful make up, even her eyeliner was perfect. Anna wanted to laugh, she was jealous on her eyeliner, but the truth was she was jealous she had Thomas. The woman was simply gorgeous and Anna was sure she was a model.
She put the picture down and went to the kitchen. Caleb was playing on the phone and Thomas was placing the plates on the table.

'Caleb, look who decided to join us.' Anna ignored his remark, but she could ignore the fact that she was wearing a bra.

'Do you a shirt I can borrow?'

'Wow, you also know how to ask something politely, what a shock!'

'Never mind, I will stay like this, eat like this and WALK home like this.' Anna sat down at the table and pretend to be grumpy.

'Ok, Ok, I got it.' Thomas undress his shirt and threw it on her head.

'What the?'

'Language miss Candy' and he winked at her. 'This or nothing, now let's not waste time with this things, Caleb, let's eat.'

Thomas served them the pasta and they all ate in silence. After they finished Caleb begged his sister to stay longer. Thomas had a gaming console and he wanted to play with it. Anna felt bad, she knew how much Caleb wanted to have one, but she couldn' t afford it. She didn't want to be in Thomas presence, she hated him.

'Next time Caleb, I promise.'

'It means we can come back? And to their shock Caleb hugged Thomas.

' Caleb! ' Anna shouted at him.

'It' s OK. You will always be welcomed here, we can play, cook and I will help you with the lessons while your sister washes my car. '

' Ha ha, what a nice joke. Move Caleb, I don't have all day.' Anna started to gather his stuff.

' I will drive you home.'

'No thanks'

'It wasn't an offer.' Thomas took from her hands Caleb backpack.

Tired of protesting Anna just followed them. She gave Thomas and address, sat on the back with her brother and she was staring on the window the whole ride. She had to find a way to collect her car, but the costs were a lot for her. Thomas could observe she was lost on her thoughts, her eyebrows were frowning all the time. He knew that her attitude was just a mask, he was planning to make her relax and give up to the bad girl image, but he quickly remembered his purpose was different and he couldn't forget why he arrived in town.

He arrived at the address that Anna gave him, but he was sure that it wasn't the right one, they stopped in front of a cemetery.

'Are you sure this is the right one?' he turned and looked at her.

'Yes, thanks, bye!' she shouted at him, grabbed Caleb's hand and dragged him out of the car.

Thomas stayed in and watched them disappear in the cemetery. After 15 minutes Anna was sure that Thomas was gone and she could go home in peace.

'Why did you do that?'

'He is a stranger, he can't find out where we live.'

'He was nice with us, we were in his home, he cooked for us. It was the best meal I had in weeks.' Anna smiled and hugged her little brother.

'Me too kid, I am sorry I don't know how to cook.'

'It's ok, let' s go. ' he grabbed her hand and Anna smiled. She wished her life was easier.

Two days later Anna still didn't get her car back. She was already furious she had to wake up earlier to get the bus and to make her day better her first class was with Professor Hottie. She was ten minutes late, but she entered the class without knocking and went to her desk.

'Miss Candy Crush, it is so nice that you decided to show up, but you are already absent, so please go outside and let us continue.' Anna ignored him and took her phone opening the game. She decided to turn up the sound just for fun. Her method worked and Thomas came to her desk.

' Miss Brown, I said you are absent from the class, now please stop and let the others pay attention to the lesson.' but Anna kept ignoring him.

'Detention, 2 hours.'

'I am absent, remember?' she looked into his eyes and smiled. Thomas got mad and took her from her desk and got her out of the class, locking the door. After he sat down and tried to relax. The others looked puzzled at him.

'Anyone else wants to join miss Brown or can we continue our lesson?' it was completely silence.

Thomas knew he was a hard teacher, most of his students hated him, but he had to be like that, he was aware of his good looks and most of the girls were admiring him, so he had to make everyone hate him. Right now the person who hated him the most was Anna, she had to revenge on him.

At the end of the day Anna was waiting for the bus when Thomas stopped his car next to her.

'Get in, I will drive you.'

'Go away you idiot!'

'Get in Anna, I am going to take Caleb anyway, if you want to wait for the bus be my guest.' Anna got it swearing him and making sure she sprawled the door.

'What a charming lady you are. I bet your parents are so proud of you.' he said and looked furious at her. Time stopped for Anna when he mentioned her parents and her only reaction was to slap him. They were both shocked, Thomas tightened the steering wheel and sped of. They didn't speak, he didn't even realise when he arrived at Caleb's school.

Caleb was the only one happy.

'Hello Mr. Davidson, can we go to your place and play?'

'We are going home.' his sister cut his enthusiasm.

'I am sorry Caleb, I am busy today, but we can meet tomorrow, it is Saturday and you can visit me.'

'Can't wait!'

'Now can anyone tell me the right address to your place?' but Caleb didn't have the courage to say anything seeing Anna so irriated.

'Right, I don't have time for this behaviour.' he drove them to the cemetery and gave Caleb his number to call him the next time. He left without saying anything to Anna. She was sure he hurried to go home to his perfect wife, to cook her a perfect dinner and make love with her. But she tried to convince herself she didn't care. She had her perfect little brother to take care of, on their way home she stopped at a supermarket and bought some pizza, they were going to have an early dinner, she had to get ready for work. In the weekends she was an waitress and a bar near the highway. She hated everything about the job, but the tips were great and she didn't have other option.

Anna and Caleb arrived home and she unlocked the door of the trailer decided to find her shortest skirt, she had to make a lot of money to get back her car.
