Chapter 6

Vanessa's POV:

When I went downstairs for breakfast, I saw Kian standing near the dining table eating grapes from the fruit basket. Or I should say throwing those grapes in the air and then catching them. I cleared
"Where is Jasper?" I asked and ignored his drama. 

"I am here," Jasper replied as he came downstairs. "Meet me in my study after getting ready," I said as I started eating my breakfast. 

"Stop all this drama dude," Cole said to Kian. Both of them were bickering for almost an hour. "Yeah, he is right Kian, stop acting like she is our queen or something and stop placing your hand on your heart. You look like an old man who is getting a heart attack." Jasper said while trying to end this topic so that I can tell them why I called them here.

"Hey, Don't you dare say that I am an old man. I am not even married fuck marriage I don't even have a girlfriend," We all chuckled as Kian protested.

"Let's talk about why I called you here. Jasper, do you remember Auston, one of Dad's trusted man" I asked. And he nodded in response."He is now working for Adams," I said.

 "Why?" Cole asked.

"I don't know, but we will get to know the answer soon," I replied as a smirk found it's way on my lips. 

"I know this smirk young lady tell me what you are planning," Kian said while rubbing his hands together to add dramatic effect. 

"That's why I called you here, I want to give him a tour of my underground basement," 

"No, it's not what I am thinking right V," Jasper said as he frowned.

"I fear that what you are thinking is right Jasper," I said with an innocent face."Yay, finally some fun," Kian replied.

"But how are you gonna do it, what if Zain comes to know about it," Cole said in a stern tone.

"It's quite easy considering that he is a drunkard and a bastard," I told them about everything I planned. And as I expected they agreed, except Jasper. He was reluctant but being the good brother he is, he too agreed. 

"Are you going?" Kian asked me when Duke called me to ask whether I can go out with him for dinner or not. 

"No, we have work to do today, will go tomorrow," I said my eyes still on my cellphone as I stared at my wallpaper a picture of my parents and me. The picture we clicked on the day of the blast, a smile on everyone's face unaware of what's going to happen next.

 "Do you like him V?" Jasper asked.

"What? No Jasper, He is just close to me, someone from my past who was and is always there for me he is my best friend," I replied as I thought about Duke, I love him, I like him but as a friend. If there's someone whom I trust the most after my brothers, it's him.

 After we all made a little plan to kidnap Auston, Dean told me that Mr Adolf called to meet me I told him to postpone the meeting . And as planned, I am going to the club Auston regularly visits and then we are going to kidnap him. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

 When I entered the club and tried to find my prey, I spot him but as I expected this old bastard is with a chick on his lap. I call a waiter to take a drink and wait for some time for the chick to go away. 

"Hey, baby girl want to dance with me?" A husky voice pulled me out of my trance."Not interested," I replied to the person, he looked like he is in his thirties.I pushed past him and made my way towards Auston who is alone by now. 

"Hey, wanna drink some with me," I try to make my voice sultry. He looks up from his glass of alcohol and grins. "Little woman, want to sit here," He says patting his thigh and grabs my wrist forcing me to sit on his lap. 

"Naah, not here, let's go to my place," I say getting up from his lap before this can get any more disgusting. "Oh, you are fast," He replied and started drinking his alcohol again. I grab his collar to gain his attention back forcing him to stand up from his chair "So, let's go," I again try to say this in some sultry tone so that he will come with me or else I am going to knock him out here because I don't want to continue this any longer. 

"Nope, first you kiss me or I am not coming," This is getting more disgusting he reeks of alcohol but I have to endure it for a bit I tell myself this and I go close towards his mouth gulping down and avoiding the urge to kill him right here right now. I stop just a few inches away from his mouth and smile. "No, not here if you want me then you have to come to my place with me," With this said I don't wait for him to reply. I grab his wrist and forcefully drag him out of the club. 

"Fiesty huh," He passes a comment when we reach a nearby alley.I turn around and give him a smile before knocking him out by hitting my gun on his head.I hear a scream not from Auston but from someone behind him. I spot the same man from the club with his hands on his mouth.

"What did-" He tried to say but I cut him off.

"Listen before I kill you, get away from here," I said in a calm voice.

"Who are you?" I am already in a bad mood and he is just making it worse.

I walk towards him with my gun "Do I need to repeat myself" With this, he runs away.

 "We are here princess," Kian said as they park the car and pick Auston up.

"It was harder than I thought, I am gonna kill him if he does not tell me what I want to know," I replied sitting in the car.

"Cole and Kian tie him on a chair will deal with him tomorrow," I said when we reach home and  I walk upstairs. I am tired and disgusted. I need a shower and a peaceful sleep.

 I wake up to the sound of my ringtone. I pick up my phone to see Duke's name on display. 

"You promised me that you will spend your day with me," How can I forget this. As soon as I pick up the call Duke's voice brings me to my senses. 

"Yeah Duke I am just getting ready" I lie as I get out of my bed.

"You are lying you were sleeping, sleepyhead," Duke replies.

"Naah, I am just going to get ready ok. Will call you back," With this, I hang up the call before he can reply.After the shower, I wear simple jeans and a crop top, apply eyeliner and lip balm. 

All set to spend some time with my buddy.

Hey Guys,

One more boring and unedited chapter is here. And I decided that from now on I will update on Mondays. Or I should say I will try to.

Our Vanessa is going out to spend some time with his chuddy buddy. What do you think will happen next? Is he going to propose her? Will Duke tell Vanessa how he feels about her?Are they gonna kiss? Haha I am just joking, sorry for being boring :)
