☆SOULMATE☆
*A little soulmate/pokemon au were your soulmate has the tattoo of your starter pokemon on your wrist (but always the same exact spot as yours) and it glows when they meet and if they have their starters.*
In which Ash finds out that his soulmate is Gou after another fateful encounter.

"Ash!"
"Huh?"
I snapped out of my daydream and realized I was just staring at my wrist whilst Gou was talking.
What was it he was talking about again? Something about going somewhere...Where was it again? Ugh, Ash you're hopeless.
"You're hopeless Ash." Gou sighed and gave me a small smile. I managed a grin back. It was like he could read my mind most of the time. He looked down at my wrist were the dark mark of a pokemon was imprinted. I wasn't sure what kind of pokemon it was.
It had big ears and big feet, that's for sure so it was some kind of bunny pokemon. The only kinds I know of are Buneary and Bunnelby. But it obviously wasn't the case the pokemon didn't match and heck, I travelled over seven regions and haven't found my soulmate.
"Do you really want to find your soulmate?" Gou asked out of nowhere. I looked up and him and saw that his eyes were fixated on my wrist.
I smiled. "You always seem to read my mind Gou. Maybe YOU are my soulmate." His face turned to an unnatural shade of red.
"W-what?!"
"I mean, you do have a Pikachu on your wrist and Pikachu is my starter," Pikachu looked up from the chair he was sitting in and nodded before turning back to his food. "It seems to all match up." I grinned teasingly.
"S-so? There are lot's of other trainers who have Pikachu for their starter!" He rebutted. "And besides, your tattoo doesn't match up with my starter pokemon."
"What starter pokemon?" I grumbled sarcastically, knowing too well where this was going.
"Mew of course! Mew will be my very first pokemon so my soulmate has to have Mew as their tattoo!"
"Don't you think if someone did have Mew on their wrist, they'd try to - I dunno - exploit the fact that their soulmate will own a mystical pokemon?"
"Look at you using big words." Gou rolled his eyes.
I huffed, "I'm just saying, you catching Mew is quite farfetched."
"Oh shut up Ash, I'll make you eat your words."
"I may like to eat but I'm definitely not eating that."
"Ha! And another thing, my soulmate is a humble being!"
I rolled my eyes but my lips twitched upwards. "Okay Gou." I said fondly. He scoffed and told me to go get ready since our train was going to leave soon.
Now what was the name of the region...

"GIVE ME! I WANT THOSE NICE SMELLING TINY THINGIES!" I whined. I couldn't resist it! They just smelt so good and were basically begging me to eat them. Gou wasn't helping with his slow transaction.
"Relax Ash, sit down and I'll be right over with our scones." Gou laughed.
I pouted and stomped my way over to an empty table. Pikachu jumped on my lap and I began to pet him, a good remedy for my impatient mood.
