The phone call

"Hello? Are you busy?" Hoseok asks.

"No, I'm not. How are you? All well?" His sister asks, worried.

"It's not good" He said. Out, of everyone, he cannot lie to his sister, not because he ought not to, but he doesn't have that strength in him to pretend as if he's doing well. "I just wanted to hear you out. How have you been?"

"Work has been pretty tiring. But, do you want me to come? And-"

"No, it's okay" He tries to smile, looking at the one picture that was hanging right up on the wall. Probably, that'd be the one of the last things he would see.

Hoseok's sister waits, on the other side of the phone, sighing.

"It's pretty late. You should go sleep, okay? And, tell mom and mickey that I love them, if that's possible"

"O... okay" She says. "I will"

"Bye. I love you too, take care. Okay?" Hoseok says softly, before hanging up the call.

The boy places his phone on the table. He stands up, with shaking legs, and walks up to the room where he sees his friends sleeping peacefully. He sees Taehyung, sleeping. Clutching his stomach, he bends down and places a kiss on the younger's temple and walks back to the same rocking chair he was initially sitting on.

His eyes fall upon the numerous things that remind him of his friends. Those things signifies how long they've been together. Those things are like a kind of souvenir, that are just too precious to each one of them. The last thing he thinks about is the boys' fond smile on him, and he smiles.
