It was my first 'official' day of school after summer vacation and the move. You could say it is also my first day in my new high school too.
"You're the new kid, right?" Asked a dark haired boy. He was wearing casual shirt with jeans-nothing too fancy. I nodded my head in reply. "Don't think I'm weird. You just look so lost I could just tell."
"Down side of moving in senior year," I said.
"Yes, yes it is." He replied, nonchalantly. "Can I see your schedule? I wanna see if we have any classes together."
"Go ahead," I answered, handing over my schedule. Which I happened to be holding in my left hand.
"Aw, we only have two classes together, Calculus and Law." He pouted sticking out his bottom lip. "At least we see each other once a day-other than lunch."
I giggled, "did you just indirectly invite me to eat lunch with you?"
"Maybe."

When the lunch bell rang, I escaped the chemistry as quickly I could. I despise chemistry to the point it pisses me off when I hear someone say they like it. As I walked down the hall in the corner of my eye I noticed her.
There she was laughing- it was music to my ear as cliche as it sounds; it was the truth. She slightly throws her head back not caring how loud she is. As if she has no care in the world.
"Beautiful," I thought walking past her until she was out of sight.
I arrived at my locker and placed my textbooks away. Then I took out my lunch and searched for the cafeteria. It was my first 'official' day and I didn't get a tour nor a map; thus, leaving me here, wandering around school looking like a lost puppy.
Imagine this, there is a mob of students walking in one direction and you are walking the opposite direction. Sucks, doesn't it?
I got shoved, pushed- thrown around like a rag-doll Eventually, I got knocked down taking a guy with me. I groaned in pain as did the guy I took down. I stood back up and put out a hand for the guy to take. He took it and got up wincing slightly.
"I'm so sorry man," I apologized, just noticing the guy's colorful hair. By now the 'lunch rush' died down with only a couple kids passing by.
"It alright," he replied, rubbing his forehead as he started to walk away.
"Wait!" I called, jogging to catch up to him. "Do you know where the cafeteria is?"
"Yeah, I'm on my way there right now-just follow me."
"Thanks."
"No problem. So... Are you new?" He asked, probably trying to be polite and make small talk while we made our way to the cafeteria.
"How could you tell? Was it my disability to navigate around here or was it the shirt?" I said, sarcastically.
He grinned, "totally the shirt."
It worked, I got the ice to break.
"Are you eating alone? You can always sit with me and my buddies." He offered.
"No, it's okay. I got invited to sit with this guy named... Calum? Yeah, Calum," his eyes lit up at the mention of Calum's name.
"Hey, I know him. Well, actually, we've been best friends since Kindergarten." He said, proudly. Thirteen years of friendship is something to be proud of. I didn't even bother contacting anyone from my old school. There goes the four to thirteen years of friendship down the drain.
"Wow, that's impressive," I said, lightly cocking my head back in awe.
He chuckled before asking, "what's your name? Sorry, I forgot to ask."
"Ashton Irwin, you?"
"Michael Clifford." He answered.

Well, this chapter was pretty... Aight idk I didn't, like, love it nor did I hate it.
First of all I got Ashton to meet Calum and Michael which was pretty good and you found some more detail about the plot. Yay!
I'm still searching for an actress to play Sage. Not really searching for someone who is extremely hot, but natural, you know? And I was hoping we can keep this chick under... 22? Please, help me. I'm pathetic at this type of stuff.
Three day weekend for me guys! Yay! Omg, I have 3 hours of Socials and SCIENCE this FRIDAY. QQ :( pray for me!
