Who reads this? Like, really? I know about 10 of you who reads this out of like... 50? Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to all of you. :)

"This is fate guys. I think the Lord is telling us that we are meant-no- destined,to be best friends." We all just laughed at how ridiculous Calum sounded. He looked offended; then, he tried to defend himself, "I'm not kidding! Like, this morning I invited Ash to eat lunch with us and later Michael also invited him! Plus, he and Luke are lab partners. If this isn't fate what is?"

We just stared at him for a moment before bursted out laughing again. Calum pouted turning his head to the side slouching into his chair; then, angrily took a bite of his bagel. It just caused us to laugh even harder and Calum sunk deeper into his chair.

As our laughter came to an end we started to have some a normal conversation-if you exclude Calum pitching in weird comments to every sentence that comes out of our mouths.

"Got 'googly' eyes on anyone yet?" Luke teased me, wiggling his eyebrows.

"No," dammit, I said that too quickly.

"Damn! Ashton is a cougar! First day and he already has a prey." Michael joked, howling from his wordplay. The rest of the table snickered while I, was trying to cover up my blush.

"I have no one guys. I haven't even spoken to a single girl yet." I tried to reason. Sure, I have a gigantic crush on Sage De Angelo, but a girl like her would never go after me. I can only fantasize and lets be real, fantasies never come true. Dreams? Sometimes, but fantasies? Never.

"Sage De Angelo, eh?" He smirks. Dammit, I said that out loud. What the fuck is wrong with me?

"She's a pretty one," Luke cooed, poking my side making me squirm.

"And, sadly, totally out of your league," Michael pointed out. Calum slapped his shoulder giving him a stern look. Michael put his hands up in surrender, before mumbling a "sorry" to me. It's not something I ever thought I actually had a chance in.

I nodded accepting his apology, "not like I was ever going to make a move."

"Maybe you should," Luke said.

"Why?"

"Because she's been staring at you this whole time."

i just realized i like writing stories more in third person so I really miss writing the present time chapters :( I wrote like a ton of it in third POV bc of my new lashton fanfic.

Thoughts on the chapter?

**Still need that actress please try to get it some recommendations by the end of chapter 6 and 7 or else I'll probably find a shit person for the role.**
