All night you had tossed and turned in your sleep. Feeling warm and cold through out the night. Blankets at times covered over your shoulders tightly, and Even though you didn't mean to cause D/n discomfort,
He would adjust his curling position next to you as you tossed and turned through the night.
You barely slept and
small beads of sweat formed on your temples. Your Cheeks were flushed a mild shade of pink too.

..just my luck...I have a fever...
You mumbled out softly as you sat up in the bed.
And just when I promised I wouldn't get sick ...
You sighed softly while wiping the sweat from your temple.

It was morning, almost noon, and Trevor and sypha were setting everything into the carriage for the journey ahead, wondering and waiting if you had decided to go along with them or not.

Sypha was a bit worried about you and she went to go check up on you while Alucard and Trevor were finishing up prepping the carriage for them to leave soon.
Sypha knocked before entering your room and you got out of bed to meet her at the door.

Sypha~
"...y/n?...oh you're awake finally..."
She smiled as you opened the door her expression then changing to a concerned look.
"...are you alright?....you look like you have a fever."

Y/n~
there was no point in denying it and you sighed with a soft smile.
".....I suppose I do, but ill be fine it will pass."
Your brows creased upwards to reassure her.
Letting her in, you sat on the edge of the bed, D/n going over to your side as you began petting him.

Sypha~
"....the flush in your cheeks says otherwise.."
Her hand gently grabbing hold of yours.
"....You're not exactly burning to the touch but still...you don't look so well y/n..."
A concerned look formed on her features and she sighed while sitting on the other side of you.
D/n ears perked up as he heard footsteps in the hallway, the door was already wide open and it wasn't long before Trevor and Alucard came up to the guest rooms.
Trevor knocked on the frame of the door upon arriving, Alucard close behind, his arms crossed for a moment before standing next to him and peering inside to see the two girls sitting at the edge of the bed.

Trevor~
" Sypha the carriage is ready....its your call when we leave..."
He yawned a bit afterwards, his gaze going from Syphas to yours.

"...y/n you look as if you'll pass over any minute, you alright ?" He mumbled while crossing his arms in question.
Alucard stepped into the room ,eyes everted as he seeked your gaze.
Waking up unexpectedly and unwantingly drawing attention to yourself with a silly cold made you sigh in frustration. You turned your gaze elsware, gazing at the blue fabric of Syphas attire and her feet as a distraction.
Alucard stood by and he gazed at you as you looked away.
Alucard
"... you caught a cold from the rain when we were in the tower didn't you..." his voice was soft and he titled his head slightly to catch your gaze.

Sypha and Trevor looked at each other in a bit of confusion, Trevor's brow raising and shoulder slightly shrugging as they watch Alucard get closer to y/n. However Sypha smiled curiously , watching Alucard closely, inferring on her own that you and Alucard must have spent time with each other the night before.

Alucard~
" y/n...can you please face me properly?..."
He wanted to know if you did, even though he could already tell inches away from you how warm from the fever you were in.

You looked up at him, your eyes meeting his golden ones, before your eyes darted guiltily elsware.
This was only going to make your cheeks flush a deeper shade of pink the more he stared.
His features were calm but there was still a hint of concern on his expression. He shook his head slightly and crossed his arms as he stood back a few feet.
Sypha still holding your hand as she spoke.
