"What a brave, girl." Savin said while his eyes are still on my dripping blood.

"Taste it." Hamon ko. "You're free to drink my blood, Leech." He closed his eyes then sighed heavily.

"You're a fool to believe that I will fall for your trap, nomad." His eyes went back again to his normal color and his sharp fangs were now gone. "I came here in Hwuri for peace. I don't drink nomad blood for centuries now. Our clan only drinks animal blood." He shared.

"Why here?" Taas kilay kong tanong. Binawi ko na ang kamay ko dito.

"Why not? Hwuri is a peaceful and beautiful place to live in. This part of the land has the largest forest that is good for hunting. We prefer to hunt for food in the forest, rather than killing innocent lives." He said while looking straight in my eyes. I couldn't tell if he's lying or telling the truth.

"And the Alphas approved?"

"Yes. We talked earlier before i came here." Napakamot siya sa kilay niya. "As for Amber, my intention is pure. I don't even know why I am even explaining to you now, but I saw that you're important to her so I think that I should respect that and make you agree with our relationship."

"How will I know that you're not using her for your own benefit?"

"What benefit will I have other than being contented and feeling whole, now that I found her? I mean, using her for my own benefit is just a lame of an excuse just to deceive her for calling her my own mate. I am not a petty man." I stared at him and shook my head.

"Well, you heard us earlier. I think I am in no position to go against whatever you both have. Good luck to your new found love." I spat bitterly and opened the car door. "But that doesn't mean that I am not watching you."
