Picnic Time

-Haru?
-Yes?
-After this rain,can we maybe go to a picnic?
-Of course!Oh and if you're new to this I can guide you.
-Thanks.
-You don't have to thank me. She smiled
After that there was an endless silence,not even a buzz was heard.
Was Haru thinking about something important or it was just that none of them had anything to say?
Erwin finally spoke:
-Haru,what are you thinking about?
-I just remember different things,before this void ruined everything.
-Like?
-Like how hard I tried to get into medical school,but in the end all my efforts were in vain...
-They weren't in vain,I'm sure you'll be what you wanted when all this will end.
-But the question it's still the same,Erwin...When..?
-Look I'm not sure,but I learned something in my life,that I have to keep my head up no matter the situation I'm in.
-I know,it's just that sometimes it's hard for me...I feel like I can't end my suffering,even if I try.
-You don't have to be so negativist,Haru,be more positive,you'll see that it'll be better and you'll feel better.Bad thoughts bring bad things,y'know?
-You're right,I'll try to be more positive.
-Haha,that sounds more like you. Erwin smiled
-Yeah,y'know I used to be like this,but after bad things started to happen,I feel like I forgot who I really am...
-Well,I'm sure you'll find yourself someday...Just give it some time.
-I will. She smiled a bit
-Now,how about that picnic we talked about?Shall we go?
-Yes.
Erwin grabbed Haru's hand and left to the garden.
Haru grabbed a blanket and covered the grass with it.
-Here! Haru motioned Erwin to sit down next to her.
She opened a box that had food,napkins,drinks,glasses and some utensils.
-Wow Haru your garden it's a true beauty!
-Hehe thanks,I worked a lot to get this results. She grinned
Haru grabbed a sandwich and holded it next to Erwin's face.
-Do you want one?
-Sure.
Erwin got the sandwich and began to eat.
-Woahh!
Haru and Erwin heard the voice and turned around.
-Stella,h-how long have you been t-there?Haru blushed
-The whole time!I was looking for you guys for a long time,but when I saw that you had a picnic,I didn't want to disturb so I just sat here.
-Why were you looking for us?Haru asked
-I was wondering how you've been doing,I checked the room,but didn't find anyone so I went outside.
-Aww,you don't have to worry about us,we're fine!Haru assured Stella
-Well now that I know,I should go back inside
And like she said,she went back inside the house,leaving the two alone.
-Stella is such a cutie. Haru warmly smiled
-She sure is. Erwin agreed
-Oh,you finished your sandwich. Haru noticed
-Sorry,I guess you make them too good. He winked
-T-thanks.
-Do you want anything else?
-No thanks,I've had enough.
-Are you sure?You can take anything,I don't mind,really.
-No,I'm fine.
-Alright then
Erwin looked at the sky.
-The sky really does look better outside.
-Right?Haru smiled
Haru placed her head on Erwin's shoulder.
-I really love this times.
-You do? He smiled
-Mhm.
