It was night where Haru lived. Erwin was sleeping.
-Erwin wake up!
-mhm, why...?I was sleeping so good until you woke me up. About some pretty la-
Haru slapped him, she was mad.
-Owww, why did you do that?!
-Umm.... Reasons... Haru blushed angrily
-Aww dw I'm not replacing you~
-Anyways I woke you up because...I don't want to celebrate the new year without you...
-Do you think I can do it in pijamas?
-Yes ^^
Erwin got up from the couch
-Well, don't you want to watch the fireworks? She asked
-If you'll too then yes.
-Of course I will!I never miss them hehe
-*yawn* good for you.
-If you want you can put your head on my lap, I don't mind it.
Haru patted her lap
-Yes, thank you.
Haru smiled and looked outside.
Erwin broke the silence after some time
-Haru?
-Yes?
-Would you like to stay with me forever?
-I would love to.
She kissed his forehead.
Erwin smiled
Haru slowly rubbed his hair.
-We've been through alot this year... He sighed
-Yes indeed...But I'm glad we did it together. Haru smiled softly
-Haru are you crying?
-I just...Never thought...I won't be alone anymore.
-You're not alone, Haru...
-I...After losing everything I had I never thought I'll find someone...
-Haru-
-I-I thought...I thought that nobody will want to stay with me, I mean...I don't have anything that special... Haru sobbed
-You have Haru. Your big heart and love are the most special things that you have...You're beautiful...There are alot of things that you have...Why do you think I love you for?
-R-really?
-Yes.
-But.... Those dream you had they-
-Haru, nobody can replace you, you're special to me and you hold the best place in my heart. I'll never get rid of you, because if I'll do, I'll feel incomplete...
-E-Erwin...
-Now please stop crying and let's enjoy this night, okay?
Haru hugged Erwin.
-I really do love you...
-I know...Now come on,we don't wanna miss the fireworks, right?
-Yes. Haru wiped her tears off
He grabbed her hand and went outside where everyone was laying down looking at the sky where lots of fireworks were shotted.
-Haru! Stella yelled
She hugged the tall girl and smiled
-Hehe, hi Stella. Haru patted her head
-O-oh, I forgot to tell you, we have plenty of food and drinks. Stella smiled
Stella pointed at a table full of food and drinks as she said.
Haru picked up some hotdogs for her and Erwin.
-Here Erwin~ she grinned
-Thanks sweetie.
Erwin was already starting to eat, he was so hungry.
-Erwin if you were that hungry I could've cooked you something! Haru said worried
-Sorry...
-The husband and the wife. Lily whispered and laughed
When Stella heard it her eyes turned into stars.
-Hey what are you guys talking about? Haru asked
-Um nothing. Lily looked away
Stella was dreaming.
-Stella? Haru waved
-O-oh, y-yes?
-Are you ok?
-Y-yes I'm fine!
-Haru can we go inside for a sec?
-O-oh sure!
Erwin went inside and was holding a box.
-Erwin,what's with the box?
-I...I wanted to give you this.
Erwin was holding a picture, it was with them and said "Happy New Year!", maybe it didn't look precious, but it was special. A memory with them both was so special.
-A picture with us?
-I know it's not probably what you expected, but... I thought that it would be a great gift... I mean we had lots of good memories together and this is one of them...
-I love it. Haru said
-Haru...
-Hm?
-What if this chaos will end... Will you become my one and only?
-Yes I will... But we're still too young right now.
-I know... But...
-I get what you're saying and I will. She smiled and looked at him.
-Happy New Year, Haru.
-Happy New year, Erwin.
Haru smiled and placed her head on his shoulder looking outside....
