After eating her own cookies, Stella went in the bedroom.The shadow was there.Stella jumped from the ground a bit, she got startled.The creature smiled.
-Did I scare you?
-Well yes kinda....But...Who are you?
-I'm your new friend! =). It smiled again
-My new friend?But I don't know you...
-You don't need to know that, I'm only here to help.
-Help me with what?You're scaring me...  Stella said shaking a bit
-To free you from this awful world, don't you want to be free?Don't you want to end this all?To go back?
Stella didn't really like the "to go back?", she didn't want to go back, she was bullied for being a witch, she prefered to be here with her new friends, her only friends...
-I don't want to go back....
-I see, but don't you want to at least end this war?
-I want to, but I don't want to kill innocent people to get that.
The shadow didn't like the answer, it frowned a bit.Than someone opened the door, slaming it a bit.It was Haru, she was so angry, her eyes turned red, she looked directly at the shadow.
-Leave.Her.Alone. Haru's tone darkened
-Hehehe...You think I'll do it that easily?
The shadow grabbed Stella's hand.
-When I'll receive what I want I will.Don't worry I'll keep her safe~
-DON'T YOU DARE!!! Haru yelled at the monster that was laughing
-Don't worry, Haru, I won't do anything to her~
She'll be safe with me~
-I WON'T LET YOU TAKE HER AWAY!!
-Oh~
You're adorable,you know you can't defeat me do you?~
Haru thought for a bit.She knew she couldn't do it alone, she needed help, a part of her wanted it, but the other wanted to do it all alone.
-See?You can't~
Haru began to cry.
-Please don't take her away from me, she's one of the things I care about the most...  Haru said slowly
The shadow looked at the girl for a second, then looked around.It sighed.
-I would like to....But I need to destroy this world...I HATE it...
-Why do you hate it that much?
-I just do...Sometimes there aren't reasons why you hate something....You just DO...
Haru felt sorry for the shadow for a moment, maybe someone did something to her, but she didn't want to tell anyone?Who knows.What's important now is that Stella is going to get kidnapped by it.
-I'm sorry, but I have to take her with me,if you don't want to help me then she will!
-Wait, don't!!! Haru yelled in a crying tone
The shadow dissapeared along with Stella.After a few seconds they were gone.
Haru just sat there,looking at where the two were a few seconds ago.She started crying again, this time harder than ever, thinking that she couldn't save Stella from the beast, because she was too weak.
Erwin heard a crying girl from the bedroom and opened the door.He saw Haru on the floor, she was on her knees, speeling tons of tears.
-Are you alright, what happened??Where is Stella???
-That monster *sniff* took her away... Haru replied in a shaky voice
-I'm sorry I couldn't be here helpin-
-No!Don't be.This is all my fault!I should've helped her, but I'm too weak.I'm so stupid for not asking for help-
-Stop!Can't you hear yourself?This is not your fault, you're not too weak!You did all you could do...None of us is perfect...But we don't have to be "perfect", our imperfections make us beautiful.It's okay...We'll rescue her, alright?
Haru looked at the boy then looked away, after some time she nodded her head in response.
He hugged the girl to comfort her, she hugged back immediately.
She just wanted to be happy,why were there so many things that were stopping her?Why couldn't she be like anyone else?Smiling, laughing, jumping from happiness,dancing...
What was wrong?
