Frisk had run away from her so called "family" and headed towards the mountain. She was tired of the fighting, tired of them blaming her for everything, tired of the bullying, tired of feeling hate. She made her way to a chasm in the tall mountain, and stood at the edge of it. She remembered the stories that she had read of Monsters living beneath Mount Ebott, and how fascinated she had been.
Wow! So monsters live under that mountain?!
*chuckle* No body knows my sweet child.
Stop feeding her lies. She already has enough imagination in her mind.
She remembered the disgust in her mother's voice that day. Grandma always told her stories about monsters, and magic. And Frisk believed it all, until she realized that they were just old fairy tales, and that nobody truly loved her. After that, she stopped "acting like a child" as her mother put it.
Frisk looked down into the dark chasm. A part of her still wondered if there were really monsters. She pushed those thought away and thought of something more important. She held tightly onto her charm necklace. It had a half of a golden heart on it. The other half belonged to her younger sibling, Chara. Before running away, Frisk had promised Chara that she would be back one day to save them from their parents.
So much for that promise... Tears started to fall from her eyes as she thought of her beloved younger sibling.
"*hic* I'm so so sorry Chara."
And
Then

Frisk's POV
Ugh.... Wait?... I'M ALIVE?!! WHAT THE?! I started to look around to see where the heck I was, and why the heck I had survived. I looked up baffled at the height at which I had fallen from. NO ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SURVIVE THAT! As I got up, I realized I fell on a bed of flowers. Huh. Maybe that broke my fall-
"Hellow fren!"
I jumped out of surprise and looked down. Did that cat just talk? Wait, was it a cat? Why did it have a head full of hair? WHAT?! It must have notice my look of confusion and fear because that...thing... started to talk again.
"Oh noes! Tem did not meen to scare yoo! I am a fren! I want to halp! Look see!" This creature (Tem was it?) took out something that looked like colorful confetti out of a pocket in it's sweater.
"Heer! They R Tem Flakes! Go ahead! Trie it!" I hesitantly take 'Tem Flakes' from it's paw and eat it. It tasted like paper, but it felt like cereal. Instantly, I felt better. " Thank you...Tem?"
"Yours welcome! My name is Temmie but u can call me Tems if u wants."
"Alright Temmie. Can you tell me where I'm at? I seemed to have...fallen...yup! totally didn't try to kill my self!... and I am super confused right now."
"Of corse! U r in the underground! Heer I T' S K I L L O R B E K I L L E D."
THAT THING IS NO CUTE! I REPEAT NOT CUTE! IS IT GOING TO EAT ME?!
"y-you're joking right?..."
"Absolootely not! Heer monsters r sick and twisted, and will stop at nothing to get their hands on a hooman. And you are the first hooman to fall here in a vury loooooong teim! Call it dum luk but you, my fren are clam chowder!"
"I think I'd like to wake up now."
"If yoo wants, temmie can guide you on ur journ- EEP!"
WHOA! A fire ball was flung at the poor guy and had set part of Temmie's hair on fire. It had managed to put it out but quickly disappeared into the shadows. I looked in the direction of where the fireball was thrown from and saw a tall goat man with black hair and a black beard.
"Are you alright, my child?" His voice sounded genuine, and the expression on his face confirmed it.
"Why did you hurt Temmie?! It was only trying to help!" The goat man looked sad and disappointed. "You must have hit your head hard. *sigh* You will learn in time how cruel this world is. Now come. You must recover from your fall." Hmmmmmm. This guy didn't seem like a bad person...goat...thing... I looked back to where Tem had been and felt bad. He didn't have to do that. I looked back at him only to see him motioning for me to follow. I decided that it's better that I get out of here. I mean, how bad could he be.....right?
Asgore's POV
The human looked unsure of herself. That was alright. I mean, she did just fall a great height, only to be greeted by the hideous face of Temmie. Ew. Finally, the human walked towards me as I motioned for her to follow. Time to introduce yourself Asgore! " I don't believe, I introduced myself. My name is Asgore, and I am the caretaker of these ruins. I hope you are happy here!" She better like it here, because she have no where else to go.
"It's very nice to meet you Asgore! My name is Frisk! And thank you for offering your help, you really didn't have to..." She looked away, with worry etched onto her face. Wait... She wasn't upset about that Temmie situation right? Another glance told me otherwise. " Are you upset about meeting that creature? I assure you, that pest will harm you no more." I looked back at Frisk and her face looked...mad? No ma'am. She better not fight back. My ruins, my rules, as I like to say.
"I'm not upset about Temmie, although I am worried for it. Why did you hurt it? It didn't mean any harm! Tem was just trying to help-"
" That thing is a beast. If I had not interfered, he would have surely killed you just for his own entertainment. You must understand that I have your best interest at heart. Down here, monsters will try to kill you, even if you are not Human. They will do anything for power. especially their queen, Toriel. She is a menace to all monster-kind and human kind. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants, and to free "her people". I felt like vomiting after saying her name. Just hearing her name makes my blood boil!
Frisk's POV
The way he talked about the queen....was almost sad. You could clearly hear the anger in his voice, but also sadness. As if he knew her? I don't want to know. No way I'm asking him anything personal. What he said about Temmie though. Was it really true? No way. ugh. It doesn't matter though. They both said more or less the same thing. Am i really going to die? I mean, I was going to kill myself anyways, but the thought of being tortured by blood thirsty monsters was more terrifying than death itself. Why do you always get yourself into these kind of situations Frisky?? Whyyyy???
