A Strange Turn of Events (a swapfell story)

Leaving so soon?

Frisk's POV

After like an hour of  flower talk, I finally got the courage to ask for a way out. I really feel bad asking, but I have to do it. For Chara! Yeah! He was sipping his tea quietly. Now is the perfect moment. " Well, um, Asogre, it's been really nice meeting you, but I'm afraid I have to go. I have a sibling waiting for me at home and I'm sure they are worried for me." He visibly tensed when I said this. Please, please, please, let Temmie be wrong. Please let him be a good man and let me leave!

 "Leaving so soon? You should stay and rest my dear! I wouldn't want you to leave on low HP! It's dangerous out there you know?" Maybe he just doesn't understand.

 "I appreciate your concern, but I'll be fine! I'm well rested and full. I can take care of myself too! Trust me, I know how to defend myself." He seemed to hesitate for a minute until a smile came on his face.

"Well, if you must insist....I trust your judgment. You understand that I am just concerned for your well being. But! Who am I to deny a young lady like yourself her leave?" Thank goodness he understands! I was beginning to get worried. 

"Thank you so much! I'm so glad that you understand!"

"Yes, I just wish that you could have stayed longer. It's rather lonely down here." Guilt tripping me? NOPE! Nuh uh! Not gonna work on me pal!

"Just let me take care of something first. Wait here." He started to walk towards and down to the basement. 

"HEY DINGUS!" Temmie popped out of nowhere again. " Jezzus Tem, don't you ever know how to warn people before you pop out of oblivion?" 

"No. NOW GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND FOLLOW HIM! " What happened to his weird speech? Eh whatever.

"OKAY JEEZ! Let me grab something first!" I made my way back to the room I was staying in and grabbed the baseball bat that was in the corner. I noticed it after I woke up but didn't touch it for obvious reasons. Hope he doesn't mind me taking this! "About time!" 

"Alright, let's go." I made my way to the basement and ran down the hallway, until I saw Asgore waiting at the end.

"You kids don't know how to listen, do you?" Kids? It's just me and Temmie though? "DO YOU?!"

"MOVE IT GUM WAD!" 

"TEMMIE?!" Asgore did NOT look happy. In fact, he looked quite the opposite! There goes my chance of negotiation. 

"Y O U. . .You are the one who corrupted my child! You are the one behind this!" 

"Asogore, please listen! It's not Temmie's fault! He had nothing to do with this! (well sorta but im not spilling any beans here) " 

"OH THAT'S PRICELESS! Of course he had something to do with it! Why else would that rat be here?" I glared down at Tem who looked almost ashamed?  Sigh "Asgore. You need to stop. I know being lonely hurts. I know you miss your family, and you just want company. But this is not the way to deal with this. Just let me pass."  As soon as I said that a flaming ball of fire came flying in my direction. I barely dodged the attack. 

"The only way you can cross that door is over my dust. " A whole row of fire balls came my way and I quickly dodged all of them. HA! This isn't so hard! I can dodge easy! I looked over at Temmie and he seemed impressed! So did Asgore apparently because he stopped for a second. A second. He caught me off guard and flung another row of flaming balls. 

Wait.

Ball.

Bat.

BASEBALL!

Temmie's POV

"The only way you can cross that door is over my dust." Dang dood. You really be messed up. Then all of a sudden he threw a row of fire balls towards Frisk. I closed my eyes not wanting to see a human die (it's pretty graphic. like their bodies don't dust, but bleed and decay. it's really gross) again. But then nothing happened. No scream, or splat, or cries of agony. I looked up and saw that Frisk had somehow managed to doge all of Asgore's attacks! Wow, even he looked stunned. Good job kid! But that second of silence was gone as the old man threw more at her direction. "Batter up!" she said before hitting one of his attacks back towards him.

Hiya! I wanted to finish the fight here and have them enter Snowdin, but then it would be too long so hopefully in the next chapter. Also this chapter be trash so ye....
