I want to say thank you to the several people who have dutifully read each chapter, and voted on them. It's really sweet of you. I've been writing since I was in fourth grade, and I've never brought together a story quite like this before-- not of this length and fortitude, if I may say so myself. LOL.
My goal with this story honestly hadn't even been to finish it, I never anticipated seeing my way through to the end, but I've used it as a way of exploring unhealthy relationship dynamics. I grew up in a house where emotional chaos was the norm, and I'm not used to being in a healthy, boring relationship. When my partner and I got engaged, I began feeling very trapped, and missed the highs and lows of that chaos, but realized I did not want to sabotage our relationship over my past traumas.
Writing has always been an outlet for me, but since that realization I have used it to explore those toxic relationship dynamics and vent any grievances I have in a way that won't damage my personal life. I'm glad you stayed along for the ride while I indulged the chaotic side of my brain!
I will be taking this down at some point in the future, as I'd like to work on editing it and publishing it someday (obviously not as a fanfiction. that would be weird.) but for now I hope you enjoy reading it, and I'd appreciate if you left a comment here to tell me what you think!
