Sunflowers of Blue
He's the one I run from
The one I don't want to be hopeful for
His glowing sunflower
That was never his
Blue eyes that hold secrets and lies
Why would you be missed?
Since I didn't want that kiss
Her. *
She's the one I go to, to seek shelter from pain,
The one I put my hope into, knowing I'll see a change,
My beautiful little sunflower, that glows in the night,
Even when in darkness, I hope she sees the light,
I looked into her iris, and all I saw was blue,
Reads tales of feelings, she wished she never knew,
I held her gentle hand as I leaned in for a kiss,
I sat up all night wondering if I will even be missed.
