Ever since I was a kid, I've been wondering if there's a world of fantasy out there. I've read and written too many novels to arrive at that kind of thought. After all, Im an author of various fantasy books myself.

I was enchanted to the thought of reincarnating to another world or perhaps, the thought of being transported to another world full of mysteries, adventure and magic.

Why do you say?

Well...

Im sick and tired of this world of mine.

Aside from the almost limitless collection of books and movies, is there anything thrilling in this world full of unequal opportunities ?

Im looking for that 'thrill' that these novel can provide in reality. 

And sadly, I haven't discovered it. In books, you can imagine yourself as the protagonist or the villain and do many adventures and stuff. However, in the real world, such a thing isn't really possible.

That's why I became an author. Only being such will make me realize and create my wildest fantasies; and materialize them into this world through my books.

But before we dive deeper to this story of mine, let me introduce myself.

I am Captain Luxifer Kurogane. A captain and tactician of the Royal Eagle; and also an author of various fantasy light novels.

Right now, we're in a bit of a tight spot. To summarize...

Currently, we are at war against the nations of the world and truthfully speaking...

This war might pave way towards mutual destruction of humanity and the world.

It all started in 2020. Everything that happened at that year was damned to say the least.

In that year, a virus has spread starting from a major country in the east. It is one of the largest country in that part of the world and due to its geographic features and the inability to immediately identify and contain the virus, the virus spread throughout the world and was officially classified as a pandemic which claimed the lives of over one fifth of the global population.

Numerous countries rushed in creating the vaccine. However, before it was created, rapid changes are occurring in nations in the east.

Major powers in the east took the opportunity to expand their military prowess while there was a pandemic.

Displaying their might and advanced technology, numerous small countries have submitted to their massive military power, thus, dividing the world into two opposing forces: the east and the west.
