Hoseok had never wanted to punch someone so bad in his life before.
As soon as his phone was in his hand, he had walked out only to find a frozen Ivy standing on her spot with a hand slapped to her mouth. Curiousity and worry had gotten the best of him so he had went to check up on her. He had peeked from behind her shoulder and was positive that the sound of heart-breaking was not only Ivy's.
He was heartbroken too now, because he had trusted the love of his life in the hands of Namjoon. Disappointment and disgust filled him completely as he watched the scene unfold.
If anybody listened to just their side, Namjoon was the one completely wrong here but one sided stories are never true. He needed a chance for an explanation.
"Get off me, Oh my god!" Namjoon yelled pushing the girl off him completely. Hoseok stood beside Ivy with his mouth agape out of realization. Whoever this woman was, he definitely didn't like her and whatever just happened was not consensual even in the slightest.
"J-Joon?" Ivy calls quietly blinking rapidly and Namjoon's head whips to the side in surprise.
"I-Ivy, I c-can explain. I know this looks bad." He grumbles slowly approaching Ivy. He touches the girl's forearm and surprisingly she leans up kissing the side of his face before handing him the bag of food.
"Em, get out of my house." She says calmly, surprising everyone by her actions.
"Wow, hello to you too," the other girl, namely Em speaks in a heavy accent and Ivy glares at her.
"I said get out of my house, I know what must've happened here."
"Your friend and I made out, that's what happened." She challenges Ivy boldly.
"Alright let's believe that happened, now get out before I throw you out."
"I travelled all the way here, just to meet you and this is how you behave?"
"First of all, you came here by your will not for me, I'm very much aware of that and yes this is how a woman behaves when her only friend throws herself on her boyfriend." Ivy crosses her arms across her chest with a very calm expression and tone, scaring the life out of Em.
"He's not even your boyfriend,"
"Yet." Namjoon blushes at that, biting his lip to hide his grin.
The two boys remain completely silent standing awkwardly. Em sighs rolling her eyes before walking out of the apartment with her suitcase along. As soon as the door closes behind the girl's back, the remaining three in the house sigh in relief.
"Ivy I promise I didn't make out with her. She just, I don't know what to say," his voice wavers slightly at the end as he rubs his face in annoyance.
"I know her. This isn't the first time she's done this kind of shit."
"Well, You're okay right?" Hoseok questions, signalling that he was leaving.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Ivy says smiling slightly at him softly. He nods before walking out the door.
Ivy sighs, dissappointed at Em when she notices Namjoon's worried and scared expression. She chuckles lightly, opening her arms and gesturing for him to come after removing her sweater, now only in a white shirt and black trousers.
"Why are you so worried?" she asks as he drops his head on to her shoulder bending down very uncomfortably so she shuffles back towards the couch and falls freely onto it and he falls on top of her.
"I'm not. I was just thinking why you'd still be friends with her if she had already done something like this before?" he mumbles with cheek squished against her shoulder blade making his lips appear thicker and poutier. She brings up a hand, caressing his lower lip with her thumb.
"Long story but basically I was really lonely and she was the one person willing to talk to me."
"I'm sorry you had to be friends with someone like her" she chuckles shrugging lightly before tapping his back and sitting up with him.
"Have you eaten anything?" She questions pulling him up from the couch along with her.
"No, I was waiting for you," he says following her to the kitchen as she lets her hair fall down from the ponytail at the top of her head. The smell of her shampoo immediately relaxing him more as she ruffles them slightly before reaching her hands to tie them again but loosely.
"No! I mean, don't tie them," he notches his tone a bit lower as she turns around to face him.
He takes the scrunchie from her hands wearing it around his wrist and running in to get her a headband quickly. She chuckles watching him run around inside her bedroom then coming out with a headband. He stretches his arm out to her with the band on his palm. She grabs it, pushing her back with it's help. He stays just behind her back as she takes out the ingredients for Pasta from the fridge and different cabinets.
"Baby, what are you doing?" She chuckles without turning back and dicing the vegetables as he keeps hopping impatiently. Namjoon immediately stops all movement, hiding his shy smile with his left hand because of the endearment.
She turns around leaving the work to face him due to the lack of response only to find a very flustered Namjoon. She smiles still unknown to the cause but leads him to the counter opposite her and tapping the surface while makes a confused face at her.
"Get on it and stay there, I can see your face this way and you'll be away from the knives."
"I'm not a kid Ivy," he comments rolling his eyes but jumping on the counter anyway.
"Yeah but the kitchen would be better off alone." She says tapping the side of his face.
As soon as she was done with the cooking, she served all the pasta in one large container finding it unnecessary to ruin another dish. She slides the rest of the used utensils into the basin before wiping her hands on her apron and settling the container next to Namjoon on the counter.
"Let's eat here today," she says before standing between his legs. He hooks his fingers in the belt loops of her pants, pulling her even closer. She smiles before blowing on a bite while he stares at her speechlessly.
"Tell me about your day, what did you do at home?" she asks feeding him and herself at the same time while his hands rest on her waist almost engulfing it due to the size difference.
"I woke up at twelve today and I made myself breakfast without doing anything stupid."
"No way!" She says fake gasping. He opens his mouth to complain but she shoves pasta into his mouth quickly which he chews as soon as possible, slightly choking once.
"After that I was standing in the balcony when I made friends with Jungkook next door."
"You did?" She asks gulping down her bite quickly.
"Yeah and he said that he found me really cool. After that, I did your laundry and went home once to drop my clothes and luggage."
"I thought you were staying here?" She asks stopping midway.
"Oh, I thought it would be uncomfortable for you if I stayed for too long,"
"No, I can't sleep that well when you're not here,"
"Mhm, don't worry about that, you should used to us spending the nights together,"
"I-I'm not worrying," she says quickly shoving another bite of food as her face turns red.
The two were just done eating when her phone rung disturbing them. She fished it out of her pocket opening the top two buttons of her shirt as she picked the call up.
"Hello? Who is this?" Namjoon waited impatiently for the person to cut the call.
"Oh, good evening Mr. Min, yeah he is, huh?" She looks at Namjoon before mumbling a 'sure' into the phone and taking it off her ear.
"He said I should tell you that Yoongi wants to talk to you." She says softly while covering the phone with one hand.
Namjoon's palms sweat against the fabric of her jeans as he slowly nods.
Guess it really was time to pull the anchors up.
