Oddysey Of A Curious Girl (pt 1:Intro:Reader)

Y/N was a normal civilian of one of many villages of Navori, far away from the war zones of Ionia. So she never knew the pain of losing someone or the constant need to run for her life.

She grew up in a peaceful, traditional home.

But there was only one problem in this beautiful, harmonious story, that promised a good ending.

Y/N was ever so curious person. She constantly wondered what was beyond her village.

Every time she would ask her parents to take her to the main city of Ionia, they would refuse or tell her that she couldn't go there, for they were constantly battling someone. They didn't want their precious little girl getting hurt, should, all of a sudden, might Ionia get ambushed by one of their enemies once more.

So Y/N never got to see anything outside her village.

But it didn't mean that she had a boring life.

Y/N was a hardworker. She helped her father with farming and taking care of the livestock.

Even if she was tired and at her limits, she would always push herself to assist her mother in cooking or cleaning at dinner-time. 

Her mother, Mikoto was a woman in her 30's, she had a beautiful pair of emerald eyes, complimented with her long, silk like lilac purple hair, which she kept in a low pony tail at all times. She wore a dress or a traditional kimono most of the time and fair skin. She was a very kind, but strict woman. She had a bubbly personality and could get irritated over simple things, like: if her house was tad a bit messy, or if her husband or her baby girl had injured something, she would act like a mother hen and scold both of them as if they were her little kids (the latter being her child).

Her father, Reichi, on the other hand, was the opposite of her beloved wife.He  was a tall man, with dark brown hair and matching eyes. He had a short hair, with his bangs styled backwards He wore a pair of black pants, along with dark blue shirt. He was calm, stoic most of the time, but relaxed. (He loved to spoil his little girl.) 

Her mother was a weaver with profession, while her father was a merchant, supplying the city with grocery and fruits of various types.

After some time, She decided to ask again to her parents, to take her to the main city of Ionia.

Her mother sighed, she was honestly tired of her little girl begging for them to take her with them.

She walked to her daughter and said. "All right young lady, Here's the deal. Once you turn eighteen. We shall take you to the main city." (just imagine ur 17 here)

Before the young girl could cheer and start dancing with joy, the woman stopped her mid-way. "BUT!" she said sternly, looking at her daughter in the eyes, to make sure she was listening closely. The teen looked at her mother, signaling to continue. "In one condition" she said. the girl listened closely. 

"Until that day comes, your task is to find your own profession, the one you will love and cherish for the rest of your life. You know the family rules." She said. "No female will depend on their husband. They must bring in just as much as their life-long partner." At that, Y/N synced along with the lines her mother drilled into her skull since the day she learned to talk.

The young girl pouted. "But, ma! You know that will never happen!" she said.

The woman just shook her head. "You cannot control who you fall in love with, child. You will find that out in time" Mikoto said smiling.

At that, her father frowned and crossed his arms, muttering something along the lines of "No man is worthy of my daughter" and so on. Her Wife gave him a glare and he quickly shut up, yet continued to sulk.

Y/N raised her fist and looked at the ceiling. and declared like a four year old kid. "I will Never fall in love. Just watch me world!" She yelled at nobody.

Both of her parents Chuckled at her firerence little girl.

That night, the girl couldn't sleep for a long time.

She was excited for her birthday, and excited for the future career she would choose.

Little did she know, what  sort of adventures awaited her.
