Storm Hawks: The Yuuzhan Vong War

After their encounter with Tsavong Lah, the Storm Hawks along with Master Cyclonis and her chief lieutenants escape Terra Cyclonia on the Condor. As they made their escape, all on board reflected on the invasion that was occurring all across Atmos. 

Stork: I never thought I'd die from an alien invasion with Cyclonians on the Condor.....

Master Cyclonis: It seems our enemy has been planning this invasion. This wasn't some random invasion. 

Finn: You would know a lot about all things invasion, would you?

Dark Ace: I suggest you hold your tongue, Sky Knight. The only thing keeping me from ripping it off is the fact that we have a common enemy. 

Aerrow soon stepped in between Finn and Dark Ace to calm the situation down. 

Aerrow: We can't afford to fight now. We have bigger things to worry about. The Yuuzhan Vong are attacking Atmos. 

Master Cyclonis: Aerrow's right. We must remain united or else we'll be doomed to fall. 

At that moment, tensions between the Storm Hawks and the Cyclonians calmed down for the time being. After that, Aerrow spoke with Piper about the invasion. 

Piper: What are we going to do?

Aerrow: We need to get back to Terra Atmosia and help the Sky Council fight off this invasion. 

Piper: And after that? What can we even do? We're facing a planetary invasion. How can we bounce back from that?

Aerrow: I don't know, Piper. But we have to try. We can't just give up. We'll push back the Yuuzhan Vong whatever it takes. 

As the Storm Hawks took a moment to process what had happened, Ravess and Snipe carefully observed the Storm Hawks. 

Ravess: We have an opportunity to kill the Storm Hawks. We have the upper hand. 

Snipe: She's right! We could take those fools by surprise! They wouldn't know what hit them before it's too late!

Master Cyclonis: You will do no such thing. For now, the Storm Hawks are our allies. Any attempt to harm them will be an act of treason and I shall personally execute any traitors to the Cyclonian Empire. 

With that, Ravess and Snipe were forced to remain loyal to the Storm Hawks. Dark Ace then spoke with Master Cyclonis. 

Dark Ace: As much I as hate to admit, Ravess and Snipe have good points. We could kill them without much trouble.

Master Cyclonis: That may be, but killing them will not only gain us nothing, but it will prove to be our downfall. Even with the full power of the Cyclonian Empire, we cannot hope to defeat this enemy. All we would do is delay the inevitable. We need the Storm Hawks as much as they need us. For now, we must work with the Storm Hawks. 

Dark Ace glanced over to Aerrow who was talking with his team. Under normal circumstances, Dark Ace would be attacking Aerrow. In this specific situation, Dark Ace might be able to kill Aerrow as well as the Storm Hawks. But the Yuuzhan Vong's invasion of Atmos prevented Dark Ace from doing so. He knew that Master Cyclonis was right. Suddenly, beeping was heard in the Condor. 

Stork: I'm getting a transmission from Atmosia! 

Aerrow: Patch it through!

Stork then activates the Condor's intercom which shows a holoprojection of Aerys. 

Aerrow: Aerys, how is it over in Atmosia? What's going on?

Aerys(Holoprojection): Dire, I'm afraid. The Yuuzhan Vong have us on the run. I've ordered a complete evacuation of Terra Atmosia. 

Aerrow: Don't worry, Aerys! Help is on the way! My team and I managed to recruit Master Cyclonis and the Cyclonian Empire!

Aerys(Holoprojection): This is good news, Aerrow. Do not go to Atmosia, Aerrow. Terra Atmosia has fallen under the Yuuzhan Vong. 

Upon hearing this, the Storm Hawks were stunned. Terra Atmosia was the capital of Free Atmos. Hearing that Terra Atmosia had fallen so quickly was inconceivable. The Cyclonians onboard the Condor were silent. 

Aerys(Holoprojection): The Sky Council is taking the citizens to Terra Neverlandis. Hopefully it's isolated enough that the Yuuzhan Vong wouldn't think twice. But we need more help. Even with the help of the Cyclonian Empire, we are far from equipped to fighting this war. 

Aerrow: Don't worry, Aerys. We'll think of something! Just hang on and we'll be right there!

Suddenly, the communications was cut short by static. Piper attempts to boost the signal, but all attempts were unsuccessful. 

Master Cyclonis: It would appear that our enemy has jammed the transmission.

Junko: What are we going to do?!

Master Cyclonis: There is someone who might be able to give us the tools we need to fight the Yuuzhan Vong. In my service is a Giant named Gundstaff. He is a skilled Crystal researcher. In recent days, he has been working on something very powerful. 

Finn: How convenient you wait until a mutual invasion to tell us this. 

Aerrow: Easy there, Finn. Can we trust him?

Master Cyclonis: I trust him with my life. He lives in an isolated Terra on the fringes of Atmos. I doubt even the Yuuzhan Vong will search this Terra. 

Aerrow: Well let's hope this Gundstaff has what we need. 

Master Cyclonis: Follow my instructions and I will lead you to his Terra.

With that, the Condor began making the journey to Gundstaff's Terra where they hoped to acquire the means to even the odds against the Yuuzhan Vong as they continue their invasion across Atmos. The Storm Hawks and the Cyclonians were now uneasy allies against the Yuuzhan Vong.
