Pha's pov:

"Pha it's raining!" I heard mom yell suddenly.

We were all startled.

I looked out the window and noticed it had started pouring at some point.

I instantly shot up and ran to Ming's room.

At first i couldn't see him anywhere in the bedroom.

"There!" Forth pointed at the far corner of the room.

He was curled into a ball. His knees were pulled close to his chest and he was pulling at his hair.

I rushed to his side and knelt infront of him.

"Ming." I called him softly.

I tried touching him but he flinched back.

"N-no pl-please..... St-op....." I heard him murmur.

I blinked and retracted my hand.

"Pl-please l-let m-me go...... Do-n't tou-touch..... Pl-please...."

I pursed my lips.

He's remembering the memories from those days in the park.

The medicine is working so he can't shut himself out anymore. So he's experiencing all the trauma and pain in full force.

"Ming open your eyes. Look at me." I said firmly.

He didn't open his eyes. He just whimpered and started shaking terribly.

His breathing was getting more and more erratic.

"Ming it's me P'Pha. No one is going to hurt you. I promise. Open your eyes." I repeated.

He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me.

"P-P'pha....."

"Yeah."

He lunged onto me and wrapped his arms around my neck tightly.

I pulled him close and gently patted his head.

"I'm here. You're safe. Calm down. Take deep breaths." I said softly.

He buried his face in the crook of my neck and took deep breaths.

It took a long time but his body slowly stopped shaking and relaxed.

I kept patting his head and whispering soothing words to him until i could hear his soft snores.

I got up with him in my arms and went to the bed.

I slowly laid him down on the bed and covered him with the duvet.

I wiped his tears with my hands.

I turned to the door and saw everyone else with worried expressions.

I got up and went to them.

"Let's go outside. I don't want to wake him up." I said softly.

They nodded and we made our way to the living room. I made sure to keep the door open just in case.

Mom and dad looked at me.

"The medicine is definitely working. He's not able to shut himself out anymore. So all the pain and trauma he had been protecting himself from is coming back." I explained.

They pursed their lips.

"Um what's going on?" Kit asked.

The others were looking at me with questioning at the same time worried expressions.
