chapter 39

Ming's pov:

I'm finally home. In his arms.

I can finally breath easy.

These last 2 years have been the worst years of my life. The torture, the pain, the continuous screams of the others, it was all so unbearable.

The only thought that kept me alive is being able to be in these arms again.

To come home to him. To tell him i love him.

I slowly pulled back a bit after a while.

We looked at each other and smiled.

I could see the relief and love in his eyes for me.

I'm so glad i pushed through.

I bent down and kissed his cheek.

He chuckled and kissed mine as well.

My smile widened even more.

"The others are going to be so happy when they see you." He said softly.

I pulled back.

"Can we go see mom and dad first?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Let's go."

I got up and let him stand up as well.

We took our things and went out.

We decided to bring Luna and Lea with us.

We put them in the backseat and i got in the passenger seat.

"Hey mom." He called her after he got into the car.

"Hey baby. How are you?" Her voice came from other end.

Tears formed in my eyes.

I missed her voice so much.

P'pha noticed it and gripped my hand reassuringly.

I smiled and gripped it back.

"I'm ok. How are you guys doing?" He asked her.

"We're doing fine. We just..... Miss him...." I vould hear her voice cracking.

I covered my mouth with my palm to stop my sobs from escaping.

P'pha rubbed my hand with his thumb comforting me.

"Are you guys home?" He asked her.

"Yeah we are. Why?"

"Well I'm on my way to your place now. Is it ok?"

"Of course it's ok baby. This is your home as well."

"Thanks mom. I'll see you soon. Love you."

"Love you too. See you soon."

He hung up.

He glanced at me.

I had tears streaming down my face.

"Hey...." He wiped my cheek.

"I missed everyone so much...." I cried softly.

"We all missed you too." He said gently.

It took me a few minutes to stop crying.

"Let's go see mom and dad yeah?" He smiled.

I smiled back and nodded.

I wiped my tears with my sleeve and composed myself.

Luna jumped through the gap between the seat and onto my lap.
