as the tree fell in love with the plant,
it should have known that it doesn't stand a chance.
as their leaves grow everyday,
they should have know that they were gonna lose the sun's ray.
little did they know that their love was forbidden,
and that at all costs it must stay hidden.
a plant and a tree,
their love shouldn't have been seen.
as the tree gets cut down and it dies,
the plant sheds it's leaves, as without love it couldn't see the point.
