Chapter 1: An Accidental Bump In

The calm sound of birds chirping outside the window woke up the small girl in a daze. The girl walked down the stairs still in her pajamas and walked towards the kitchen. She stepped through the archway and inhaled the smell of bacon and pancakes (sorry if you don't like or are allergic to this breakfast please substitute it if needed). She sat down on the kitchen island across from her father.

y/n pov

"Good morning pumpkin. I have to go to a meeting for the upcoming school year, so make sure you Maki gets fed." Dad said this as he pushed a plate in front of me, then walked towards the door and left. Maki jumped onto the island right next to my plate.

" Good morning Maki." You got the cat food from the pantry and fed Maki. You two ate in silence this morning.

After getting ready and scrolling through Tik Tok, fantasizing why you weren't able to live in an anime, I finally got bored. Maybe I should go to the park or the cafe nearby...... or both! You got out of bed and texted Dad that I was going to the cafe and park down the street. You put on your shoes and walked towards the direction of the cafe.

While you were walking you plugged in your headphones and started listening to music (preferably Hot Wings (I Wanna Party) from the movie Rio lols) and just vibing. I skipped along the sidewalk humming the song that played when I suddenly bumped into something. The impact made me trip and fall on the ground.

"Watch where you're going dumbass." I closed my eyes because it felt like the world was spinning. I finally opened them to see a pair of ruby ones staring at me with a hand held out to help me up. It felt like the whole world stopped and I could just stare at those ruby eyes all day. "Tch. Don't make me wait all day." I took his hand and got back up on my two feet, while constantly keeping eye contact. He seems like the prince charming like from the fairy tales, and this is how our story begins. "Stop staring it's creepy." I looked away out of embarrassment.

"I'm sorry."

"You better fucking be you're such a fucking dumbass." What the fuck was I thinking earlier this guy isn't prince charming, but an asshole.

"Look I said sorry can I go now." He scoffed then started walking making sure he purposely bumped into your shoulder. What's his problem? I kept walking towards the cafe still not able to get the situation out of my head. I walked into the cafe and waited in line to order the usual, a blueberry scone and an iced coffee.

BZZZ BZZ

"Hey dad what's up?"

"I got your text, can you get me a dark roast coffee? I'll meet you at the park." He hung up. I ordered at the counter, waited for our food and drinks and after I got them I walked towards the park. It didn't take me long to find a middle aged man sitting on top of the double slide on the playground. Good thing there aren't kids around or they'd find it strange that a middle age man is on the slide by himself. I walked up to the playground where he was sitting, gave him his drink and sat down next to him. I opened the package to my scone and took a piece and ate it.

"How was your day kiddo." Kiddo he never calls me that, he must've had a rough day.

"It was okay." I said while taking another piece and eating it.

"What's wrong? Usually you talk about your day like there's no tomorrow." Dammit there's no going past him.

"Well there was this boy" he raised an eyebrow in suspision "I accidentally bumped into him and he was being all rude and called me a dumbass. He also PURPOSELY bumped into my shoulder as he walked away."

"Sounds like one heck of a guy." He said then sipped on his coffee.

"I guess..." A silence fell for a few minutes. "How was the meeting?"

"Irritating, Present Mic couldn't be any louder."

"Well Uncle Mic has always been a positive person."

"Mhmm positively annoying." We laughed for a bit and finished our drinks. We slid down the slide and he put an arm around my shoulder as we walked home. Today was a good day.

Dadzawa Pov

I swear when I find this kid I'm gonna kill him for talking to my daughter like that, along with Mic.
