Chapter 8: Everything Falling Apart

Blue sparks started to spit from y/n's hands, she was trying to get into the brain of the Nomu (using Growther's power from the Seven Deadly Sins). She wanted to see what was inflicting the incredible beast to do the bidding of such dangerous people. Finally, y/n was able to get into the beast mind and both were idle. (You are still able to hear what is going on outside of the nomu's thoughts)

"Look who's being all heroic Eraser Head, it's your precious y/n." Shigaraki was walking towards y/n, closing the distance. The distance was nearing, but got interrupted by the purple smoke popping up from thin air.

"The rescue hero is out of commission, but there was a student that I wasn't able to dispose of and that one of them got outside of the facility." Shigarki was getting very irritated at that point, and started scratching his neck.

"There's no way that we could win if pros show up to stop us, it's game over, back to the title screen. I was looking forward to finishing this today, dammit let's go home." A small moment of silence had fallen upon the area.

It was hard to bear the pain that was creeping up y/n's arms, instead of scratches it became burns. The burns started off normal, but they became more excruciating as time passed. The aura emulating from y/n's hands were fading away. For a quick second her work stopped completely, and the nomu was allowed full access to his body. The girl was flung to the side with one shake from the beast. She was lying on the floor wincing in pain and clutching her arms.

"Oh before we leave, let's make sure the symbol of peace is broken. Let's wreck his pride!" In an instant Shigaraki was near the water trying to grab Tsu, who was in the water.

y/n pov

Dammit, if I paid attention to my surroundings more. If I hadn't rushed into things, none of this wouldn't happen. I'm a failure, a failure. I failed Uncle Toshinori, Aunt Thirteen, and ..... Dad. Dammit dammit dammit dammit. Images of dad and his arm disintegrating was playing through my mind. I wanted to break down right there. I looked away from where Shigaraki was.

"You really are so cool" Shigaraki looked back into my direction, confused I looked back as well and saw dad looking straight at Shigaraki. Deku came up behind Shigaraki, ready to use his quirk. Everything was crumbling, falling apart we were going to lose.

BAM

The door opened revealing Uncle Toshi in all of his glory.
