The moment Yoonoh finally managed to settle Yeoreum back to sleep, his anger became impossible to suppress. He knew he couldn't stay there another second.
Within minutes, he was behind the wheel, pressing down on the gas as he drove through the dead streets at two in the morning. He hadn't even bothered to fix his disheveled hair, and he'd slipped into the first pair of shoes he could find. Luckily, they happened to be at least appropriate.
His hands tightened around the steering wheel, jaw clenched as he forced himself to breathe and calm down. Getting into an accident wouldn't help Yeoreum, and he refused to let his anger make things worse.
But the more he thought about what had happened, the harder it became to stay calm.
Haechan had been smoking. He had been taking drugs. And because of their soulmate bond, Yeoreum had tasted every bit of it.
Yoonoh drove through the familiar outcast neighborhood, surrounded by empty lawns and dense forest trees. The farther he went, the quieter everything became until the secluded mansion finally came into view.
He didn't waste another second.
After parking, Yoonoh went straight to the hidden scanner in the secluded spot known only to a handful of people and pressed his finger against it. The gate opened. The alarm immediately went off.
Inside the media room, Renjun's head snapped up from his computer. Still half-asleep, he glanced at the security screens.
His eyes widened, shot out of his chair and rushed downstairs.
At the exact same time, the front door was thrown open, revealing Yoonoh standing there with an expression that made Renjun freeze.
"H-Hyung—"
"Where's Lee Donghyuck?!" The roar of his voice echoed through the mansion.
Every sleeping member woke up.
"I believe he's not here," Mark said hoarsely, appearing behind Renjun.
"Then where the fuck is he?"
"What's happening?" Jisung called as he hurried down the stairs, his hair completely messed up from sleep.
"Get me Lee Donghyuck or else– !"
Before anyone could answer, the sound of another door opening drew their attention.
Haechan appeared from the hallway, looking exhausted. He stumbled slightly as he walked, one hand coming up to pinch the bridge of his nose.
"Who's car is—"
"You fucked-up bastard!"
Yoonoh crossed the room in seconds and grabbed him by the collar.
Haechan barely had time to react before Yoonoh threw him onto the hard floor. His eyes widened as the impact jolted him awake, the remaining effects of alcohol and drugs slowly beginning to wear off.
Yoonoh grabbed the front of his shirt again and hauled him back up.
"Are you sober now?" His voice was frighteningly calm compared to the rage burning behind his eyes.
