Olivia's Pov

I set off to meet my friends for another boring day of school. I hate school. I have never enjoyed it and I believe it is impossible for anyone to even remotely like it. I have dyslexia and ADHD which makes the whole experience even more depressing as teachers just label you stupid or a trouble maker, both in my case. The only good thing about it is my friends. We have known each other since reception but became best mates when we started in Year 7. We are all very different but yet so similar.

"Ahhh!" Sara yells as she jumps on my back. Sara is always full of energy and is ready for anything, but can be a bit violent at times.

"Get off!" I yell back as I try and push her off. Oblivious to what's going on, Macey stands just to the left of me and Sara listening to something through her headphones. "A little help," I ask her. She looks up and quickly turns off whatever she was listening to.

"Oh, um, sorry," she replies a little dazed. "Sara, get off her," she says not very forcefully at all.

"What your new song called?" Sara sighs, finally climbing off my back. Macey is always listening to some new song or writing poetry of some sort, very annoying poetry to be exact. But we all love her to bits.

"On top of the world by Imagine Dragons. I love it!" She squeals and she passes me the other headphone and, I've got to admit, it's pretty good.

Just as the song finishes, Remi shows up 10 minutes late. "Your 10 minutes!" Sara exclaims, punching her in shoulder.

"You need to learn the difference between a friendly punch and a punch," Remi tells Sara, rubbing her shoulder.

"Why are you so late Miss Preece?" I ask tapping my wrist in an over-exaggerated manner. She laughs at my silliness.

"Well, Miss Brake, I was looking at this article about the way architecture has changed over history," she replies with a smile. I shake my head. Remi is the smartest person I know and she has a passion for architecture but, after awhile, it can very annoying.

"I like the way you said looking instead of reading," Sara points out with a laugh.

"Well dyslexia can make the whole reading thing hard," she laughs. We all have dyslexia and ADHD which is probably why we all get along. We also all have a parent we can't remember aswell.

We practically have to run to school because we spend to long chatting at corner where we meet. We just make it in time for Tat to find us. Yay. Tatianna hangs around with all the time and we really don't know why. She's what you would call goth and I, personally, believe she smells like death. She also has this condition which gets her out of PE.

"Hey," she says excitedly and I hold in a groan. The others don't mind her but I can't stand her.

"Hey," Macey replies back. Tat starts of some conversation about creepy bands as we make our way to our forms. I hate school.
