"I already showed Lana. She said she's letting everyone know so they can come down here to rest." Aiden spoke quietly as he swam through the cave entrance. Once inside, the male pointed towards the room away from the more open area, "You can go sleep. I'll just, I'll stay out here." The feminine male seemed to had distanced himself after Caspian had found out that Drake had been killed. Aiden felt, bad. In some ways he blamed himself. Caspian would had never came back if it wasn't for him. For all he knew, the prince could had saved his father. Aiden knew without a doubt that Drake was still heavy on his partner's mind, but he hadn't offered to bring it up. Truly, he worried that he would upset Caspian with the subject. Especially after he reacted the way he did when Lana had told them.

Caspian though, was quiet. The male swam behind Aiden, listening to the silence really. There was no music to be played. All the decorations from the night before were wrecked and most beginning to fall back into the sand. Weapons laid out in the sand. No bodies had been left, but they never had been. He could tell Aiden was upset. Even if the smaller merman was smiling, he knew that the feminine male was masking something else. Once inside, Caspian seemed confused, "Are you not sleeping with me, Aiden?" Caspian swam up and grabbed his hand. He leaned down and kissed the top of it gently, "You need rest as well. I don't want you getting tired. That's a lot of open water for you. I'm used to it." Caspian trained in open waters for some time. With no cover the majority of the time, that was Drake's reasoning for the training out there. Endurance.

The smaller male looked at Caspian, a soft flush came across his freckled cheeks. For a moment he just gave a soft smile. Aiden wasn't certain what to say. He glanced away for a moment, "You got pretty upset with Gal. I, we saw you two get into it. Is everything alright?" The small merman knew to stay out of a Shark Class brawl. They had size, and were the biggest in the waters. At least in these parts of the ocean. Aiden shifted a bit, "Rest?" He rolled his shoulders, feeling a sting on his shoulder from the bite. The merman reached up and grabbed Caspian's hands, "I'm sorry about Drake, Caspian. I loved him too, you know. Your family practically raised me I-"

"Aiden.." The warrior knew it. The red haired male rambled on, seeming concerned on matters that were not his own. Caspian gave his love's hand a pull towards his room, "Don't worry about Gal. He just isn't happy that I'm in charge." The male led Aiden back where they had rested before. Caspian had interrupted at the mention of Drake. The topic of his father didn't seem to be one that was being taken very lightly by the warrior prince, "I'd rather not discuss the topic of Drake right now. My mind is heavy. I think rest is what we both need."

Aiden frowned. He had expected Caspian to be more open about the loss of Drake. The man was their king, their savior. Had he not led them out when they were children, many more including him would had died. The red haired male was a bit surprised, "You know talking about things will make you feel better." The merman swam over and laid down on the bed. The male stretched out, looking at Caspian for a moment before curling up. He knew not to mention his father  anymore. Caspian was clearly attempting to distract himself from the matter regarding.

Caspian didn't respond to Aiden. Which wasn't uncommon. The male was quite reserved for the most part, and when he was upset, he was even more so. The raven haired male watched Aiden move and finally rest on the bed. He can a swift movement of his tail to push him forward before sitting down next to Aiden. He reached forward and rested his hand on the small merman's shoulder. Caspian was a being of few words, but he seemed to always do his best when it came to comfort, "Aiden, there was nothing you could had done." Caspian leaned down and kissed his cheek. He heard other's finally beginning to come in for a nights rest. He moved forward and closed up the room for the night with a thick sheet of woven seaweed. The warrior looked back at Aiden, who was being rather quiet now. Prince Caspian looked back towards the small male and shook his head. The male ran his fingers through his beard and mumbled. He moved back towards his love, "Is there anything I can do Aiden?"

The small male had curled up into a ball. He had his hands wrapped around his frame, and his tail coiled up near his chest. Caspian was always there to bring Aiden to the reality of things. Nothing could had stopped what happened last night, and Aiden knew that. Reality hadn't really hit him until "Can you just come rest with me for a bit? I know you can't stay long, but just for now?" Aiden turned his head a bit and glanced at Caspian for a moment, "You don't have to, I just-"

"Aiden.." Caspian hadn't missed a beat, moving into the spot with Aiden as he pulled the feminine male up against him; holding his head to his chest. The dark haired male ran his fingers through his lover's hair, "Why don't you just relax for now? I'll go speak with my mother when I know you're asleep. I won't leave any sooner. No one is going to hurt you. You understand that?" Caspian kissed Aiden's cheek softly, "You get some rest. I'll be right here."

Aiden looked up at Caspian. The new couple were best friends, but being lover's now, the two had a awkward act about them. Not being with anyone before, the both of them were easily embarrassed. The feminine male more so. The merman leaned up and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek himself. He couldn't find the words, but the embrace was enough. The two always relaxed in one another's embrace. Even with rapid thoughts, Aiden found himself drifting off into the embrace.
