As the sun finally rose, so did everyone else. While walking towards the destination, they watched Karga silently converse with his hunters as they led the way. Celeste was definitely on edge, and she knew Mando was as well.

"You think they're having second thoughts?" Cara ask Mando, while glaring at the men ahead.

"Could be—I need your eyes."Mando informs her, causing her to firmly nod.

Before they knew it, they could now practically see the destination from a far. The buildings of the old city looked the same as before; only less lively.

"I guess this is it." Karga says while stopping at the ledge over looking the abandoned looking city.
Then in an instant, Karga twirls around with his blasters raised, and shoots his men standing behind the three, taking everyone off guard. Celeste would be lying if she said that she wasn't scared shitless.

"What the hell?" Celeste spits angrily towards the man, who now had his blaster raised in the air.
"There's something you should know." He informs them, before walking over towards the dead bodies of the hunters and kicks their weapons away just in case.

"The plan was to kill you and take the kid. But after what happened last night, I couldn't go through with it..." Karga starts off explaining but unfortunately for him, he was given zero response. "Go on— You can gun me down right here and now and it wouldn't violate the code. But if you do, this child will never be safe."

"Well take our chances." Cara mutters towards the man, raising her blaster a little higher.

"The imperial client is obsessed with obtaining this asset. You tried to run, but where did it get you?" Karga informs the three, while eyeing Mando with pleading eyes.

"I hate to say it, but he's right." Celeste sighs out to both of her comrades, which only caused Cara to scoff in response. "Don't be ridiculous." Cara tells her, clearly annoyed with the whole situation.

"Perhaps you should let him speak." Kuiil tells the buff woman with an scowl laying upon his face.

"Listen, we both need the client to be eliminated. Let me take the child to him and then you three—" Karga starts off only to be quickly interrupted.

"No." Mando and Celeste both say in sync, clearly not appreciating where Karga's plan was headed. They weren't stupid, they'd never just hand over the child.

"Let just kill him and get out of here." Cara growls, looking at the man with a death glare. Mando suddenly lowers his gun directed at the man in question.

"No—He's right." Mando stares, causing Cara to furrow her brows in confusion. What are you doing?" She mutters in question, clearly not understanding.
