You and your Bloody Chicken!

It was now Monday. Anna woke me up by slapping a pillow to my face since I'm a fairly deep sleeper. We had breakfast and then it was time to report to our classes. I was excited but mostly nervous. School was never my strong suit. Wizarding school or not, it's still school. For breakfast I had eggs and tater tots with some vanilla coffee. Soon enough it was time for our first class. Me and Anna had Astronomy together first. I wanted to sit near the middle of the class since I can't see without my glasses from too far away but she insisted we sit in the back where most people wanted to sit. I broke and sat with her in the back.

I was pretty excited for this class and was happy that I had Anna in the class with me. I'm not the best at making new friends. Laughing our worries away, Anna and I failed to notice that our professor had entered the room. Embarrassed once we noticed, we both shut up. I felt my cheeks flush and lowered my head. I could see everyone staring at us through the corner of my eye. The professor quickly moved on from the incident and no one spoke of it again.

After class was over one of the guys approached me to comment on what had happened in the beginning of class with the professor. His name was Harry, I already knew just by looking at him. Harry was a legend. Son of Lily and James Potter, pure legend. I was surprised and a bit flattered that he even talked to me if I'm being honest. We had a normal pleasant conversation regarding my embarrassment and parted our ways.

Next I had flying class. Let's just say I'm not the biggest fan of anything competitive. If my hearts not on it, I just won't care enough to try. Sadly enough, Anna wasn't in this class with me. I did however notice that Hermione was so at least I knew somebody. I approached her with ease and stood by her side so I had someone to talk to. We sat on our broomsticks and were lead through the process of learning how to maneuver it. It's tricky but you get used to it fairly quickly. You'll never guess who's in this class. Malfoy. I swear this kid is every where. He of course went about making himself the very first to fly. Show- off and all. He wasn't too bad I'll give him that.
I could've sworn he kept looking at me but every time I turned my head to check, he diverted his eyes elsewhere.

I met up with Anna for lunch. She was accompanied by Cedric, you know, the guy from the train. He was nice and all. Anna and him were totally flirting even though they'd probably never admit it. I expected Draco to tag along but it seems like he had more important friends than good old Cedric. It was a peaceful lunch at that.

The completion of our first day. I was exhausted with my body still getting used to my surroundings and all. Hogwarts has been fun so far don't get me wrong, change is still always hard.

The older girls were instructed to supervise us in the common room but they were too busy gossiping about boys. Even amongst my cousins growing up, I would surround myself with my guy cousins rather than the girls because at least they'd talk about more than just one subject- boys.

Day 2 and we had the Care of Magical Creatures class. I was excited for this at root of my deep love for animals. Anna had met up with Cedric early in the morning to get breakfast before I woke up. I met up with them outside for class. Our teacher Hagrid was that friendly giant type. His height and build makes him appear intimidating, but he wouldn't hurt a fly. Harry and his friends were in our class too. I even spotted Hermione by his side next to their mutual friend Ron Weasley.
Draco was late to class. Making a scene as usual. Walking like he owns the place with his little minions behind him.
We were studying a hippogriff today. Hagrid warns us to approach the creature with caution as it seems to be easily frightened. In an attempt to shield ourselves from Hagrids pick, we all collectively take a step back as he begins to choose someone to volunteer. Leaving no other than Mr. Harry Potter left to choose from. He approaches Buckbeak slowly, careful not to startle it. With a successful greeting, Harry is able to take the animal off on a quick fly. Looked pretty fun to me. Maybe I should stand by his side next time.

The show off Malfoy was determined to one-up Harry's every move. Thus pushing him to take a go at Buckbeak.
Bad idea Malfoy. The hippogriff kicked Draco down to the ground. I can't say he didn't deserve it tho. We all saw it coming.
"It's killed meh! Oh It's killed meh." He moans dramatically holding his arm.
Hagrid quickly picks him off the ground and proceeds to take him to the doctors ward.
"You're gonna regret this, you and your bloody chicken!" yells Draco. Anna and I laugh.
"Class dismissed!" says Hagrid.
