Exactly 1 year and 8 months since you and Kaito had been together. Exactly 2 years since you two first met. And exactly 4 months since you two had broke up.

It was a devastating news to your friends when you had announced about your breakup with the magician. It was truly a shocking news since you and Kaito had been getting along so well, despite the fact that it's a long distance relationship.

It all started with a wrong number call.

You were sleeping peacefully in your apartment when your phone suddenly rung. Not expecting a call at 5 in the morning, you frowned and glared at the nightstand where your phone is resting.

"Who in the world calls this early in the morning?"

Groaning, you reached for your phone and answered the call.

"Who is it? It's freaking 5 in the morning you know right?" You said clearly pissed at the person on the other line.

"Aokooooooo~! Hehehehe why did you reject me like thattt, it really hurts ya knowwww~" You heard a drunk voice from the other line.

Confused as to who is this Aoko and the guy on the other line is, you sat up on the bed then look outside. It's still pretty dark but the sun will be rising soon.

"Sorry but You got the wrong number,this is Y/n not Aoko." You said then the other line became quiet.

Maybe he finally realized that he got the wrong number and will apologize before hanging up but no. You were not expecting his respond at all.

"Then, can you be my girlfriend?"

You chuckled at the memory of how you two first talked to each other, that morning you immediately hang up the phone but later in the evening you suddenly received another call from the same number.

He was apologizing non-stop on how the alcohol got into his head and such but you just laughed it off and forgave him, he was heartbroken after all.

"It's fine really. If it can help you even a little you can talk to me, open up if you want to I don't mind." You said as you heard a chuckle at the other line.

"You're really nice despite how grumpy you were this morning ~" He snickered as you felt your cheeks heating up.

"T-that's because you called so early in the morning! I mean who does that?" You said as you drink some coffee.

"A heartbroken drunk person?" He asked then laughed making you laughed along with him. A really dark humour but hey at least he laughed.

That evening was the start on how you and him became friends. Kaito didn't mind at all since you did comfort him. This was the first time you had ever met someone like Kaito, the same goes to him.

After talking for 2 weeks over the phone, both of you decided to finally meet up in person at Tokyo. Of course you were nervous since you don't know if he'll be the same person as the one who's over the phone or some guy who will kidnapped you but all the worried that you felt disappeared once you two finally met.
