Not worth

Kasalukuyan akong nagpapahinga galing trabaho ng biglang tumunog ang cellphone ko.
I groaned when I saw my best friend's name on my phone screen. Nag aaya nanamang mag bar.

Pumayag ako ng sinabi niyang libre niya.
Hell , I need to save. Ang dami ko pang bills na babayaran.

Naghanda na ako kasi sabi niya ay susunduin niya daw ako sa basement ng condo unit ko. I wore a black spaghetti strap dress that perfectly hugs my body and I pair it with a black stilettos. I just bring with me my black purse since ayaw kong maraming bitbit pag umaalis. I tied my hair in a messy bun before leaving my condo.

Tinext ko muna si Ion na mag b-bar kami ni Ayesha before entering the elevator.

When the elevator opened I immediately saw my best friend's car.

I opened the shotgun's seat only to see Ayesha panicking while typing something on her phone. She was furious! Malapit ng mabasag ang screen ng cellphone niya sa sobrang diin niya mag type.

" What's wrong? " I asked

She look at me before looking at her phone. Bumuntong hininga siya bago ibinigay saakin ang cellphone niya.
Taka ko naman itong kinuha at tinignan na sana hindi ko nalang ginawa.

It's a picture of Ion kissing a woman in a bar.

" He's cheating on you....again " she said while driving.

Namuo ang luha sa mata ko. He cheated on me twice pero wala akong ginawa kundi patawarin siya. It's not new to me but it still hurts like hell.

Sabi ko okay lang na mangbabae siya , basta saakin parin siya uuwi.

How stupid right?

" Tama na 'yung pagpapakatanga Renlyn. Dami daming lalaki diyan , naka focus ka lang kase sa iisa. " si Ayesha.

" Fuck , it hurts. " hindi ko napigilan ang paglandas ng luha sa mata ko.

Tahimik lang na nag drive si Ayesha. I know how much she wants to slap me hard right now for being such a fool in love.

I calmed myself down before fixing my face so I wouldn't look like a mess.
Sinabi saakin ni Ayesha na nandoon din daw sa bar na 'yun si Ion.

" We can go to other club , Ren. "

I shook my head and tell her it's fine.

Wala siyang nagawa ng bumaba na ako atsaka taas noong pumasok sa bar.
I immediately roam my eyes to look for Ion. Hindi ako nahirapan kasi hindi naman sila nagtatago. Hindi na nahiya ang gago. Tinignan ko ang babae at nakitang pamilyar ito.

" She's a model. That's Leia Marie Alcantara " bulong saakin ni Ayesha sa likod.

I crossed my arms over my chest while watching them making out.

I'm not really the bitchy type just slight. I don't have any plans to revenge because for me revenge is only for weak people.
I will just let karma fuck them up.

Nakita ko kung paano mapunta sa direksyon ko ang tingin ni Ion. His eyes widened and he immediately push the girl away but it's too late I saw it already. Lumabas na ako bago pa pumatak ang luha ko.

Fucking asshole!

Tumakbo ako ng tumakbo habang naglalandas ang luha sa pisngi ko.
Mas masakit kasi pag nakita mo na ng harap harapan. Sasampalin ka talaga ng katotohanan.

Dinala ako ng mga paa ko sa isang parke. Sobrang dilim buti nalang hindi ako natapilok. Umupo ako sa isang swing atsaka tinakpan ng palad ang mukha ko. I was busy crying when I heard a footsteps from nowhere.

I can feel my heart beating so fast. I screamed when a man handed me a handkerchief.

" Damn woman! Why are you shouting? " he said.

" I was scared! Who are you? " I asked.

Hindi ko makita ng maayos ang mukha niya so I turned on my flashlight. Tinakpan niya ang mata niya ng tumama sakaniya ang ilaw. Iniwas ko kaagad ito para hindi siya masilaw.

" I'm not a bad person. " he said immediately.

" You can't fool me. "

Tumawa siya bago umupo sa katabi kong swing.

" I saw you walked out the bar so I followed you. " he said before looking at me.

I hug my self because it was so cold. I jumped a bit when the man put his jacket on my shoulder.

" If you need money I don't have my cards with me. " I said accusingly.

Hindi siya makapaniwalang tumingin saakin. " Marami akong pera , I don't need your money. "

I raised a brow. " Then why are you here? "

" I told you I saw you walked out the bar so I followed you. "

" So , why did you follow me? " I said , irritated.

He won't just answer my damn question!

" Ang sungit mo. " he laughed.
" Your boyfriend cheated. " It wasn't a question.

" Yeah , he did it twice. " I saw how his brows furrowed because of my statement.

" You're stupid for not leaving him. Ginawa na pala niya noon , e. "

Nainsulto ako roon ng konti pero alam kong purong katotohanan lamang ang sinasabi niya.

" I can't just leave him. "

He faced me. " Why so? "

Naramdaman ko nanaman ang pamumuo ng luha ko at ang pagsikip ng dibdib ko.

" He's the only one I have. "

Suminghap siya , " Tsh , you have friends. "

" Kung makapagsalita ka parang kilalang kilala mo ako. " mapait na sabi ko.

Ramdam ko ang pagkatigil niya. " I know your friends. "

Hindi na ako nagulat dahil lahat naman kilala ng mga 'yun.

Tumingala ako at pinanood ang buwan na pinapalibutan ng mga tala.

" Why do people cheat? " wala sa sariling tanong ko.

Hinarap niya ako bago nagkibit balikat.
" I don't know. People who cheat doesn't know how to be contented. "

" It's so unfair right? Bakit kung sino pa 'yung faithful sila pa 'yung niloloko. " tumulo ang luha ko. " It's so fucking hard to f-force people to stay with me. " my voice broke.
" I want to forget him so bad but I don't know how. "

" I can help you. " he said.

I laughed sarcastically. " And how will you help me? "

" I'll tell you soon , just save your number here. " he handed me his phone.

I was hesitant at first but I still save my number on his phone.

" I already texted your friends to pick you up. "

" Thank you " I smiled genuinely.

" You look more prettier when you smile. Stop crying he's not worth your tears. "
