Chapter 5

" What did she tell you? " nagulat ako ng biglang sumulpot si Zhyken sa tabi ko.

Hindi pa nag si-sink in saakin ang mga sinabi ng pinsan niya.
Kilala daw nila ako noon pa? Wews , imbestigador ba sila tapos ako 'yung iniimbistigahan nila?

Napadaing ako ng pitikin ni Zhyken ang noo ko. " You're spacing out. "

" Sorry. U-uh wala naman siyang sinabi , tinanong lang niya ako. "

" What did she asked you , then? "

I glared at him. " Andami mong tanong. Isa pa sasapakin kita. "

He held on his chest dramatically.
" Awit attitude! "

He really is so playful!

11 nang makaramdam ako ng antok. Napansin siguro ni Zhyken 'yun kaya nagpaalam na siya sa mga kausap niya.

" Una na kami , inaantok na asawa ko. " he laughed.

My eyes widened at that and my face heated. Akala ko ba mag jowa lang!?
This man really!

" Sana all may asawa. " the other boy teased. Pilit na ngiti ang iginawad ko sakanila atsaka nagpa-akay kay Zhyken palabas ng hotel.

" Asawa pala , ha. " Kinurot ko ang tagiliran niya dahilan ng pagtawa niya.

" Gusto mo naman , " he teased.

Sumama agad ang timpla ng mukha ko.
" What!? "

Tumawa siya atsaka ako pinatakan ng halik sa noo. Bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko at parang may paro-parong nagliliparan sa tyan ko.

I know this feeling.

" No you can't be. You're just acting , Ren. Come on. " bulong ko sa sarili ko.

Hindi ako pwedeng mahulog sakaniya , matatalo ako.

" Ha? Ayos ka lang? " he didn't get what I said. Thank God.

Umiling ako atsaka sumakay sa shotgun's seat. Habang papunta kami ng condo ko ay tsaka ko lang naalala na nakalimutan ko 'yung susi sa may vanity table ko!

I panicked so I checked my purse if I bring with me the duplicate. I cursed when I realized that it is in my table in the office.

Pag sinabi ko kay Zhyken na sa bahay niya ako ideretso ay malayo 'yun , geez.

" Hey you okay? " he asked.

" I forget my keys. " I bit my lower lip.

" Ngi. " I laugh when he said that. He's so cute.

" Nakalimutan mo na nga susi mo tumatawa ka parin! Ang lakas naman talaga ng amats mo , Amara! "

Ngumuso ako atsaka nag isip na mag book nalang ng hotel.
" Mag b-book nalang ako ng hotel. "

" Wala kang pagbibihisan. Sa condo ko nalang. " sabi niya habang nakatuon ang atensyon sa daan.

" Seryoso ka ba? Or pwede namang kay Ayesha nalang but it's far. "

" Sa condo nalang I have three guestrooms. "

Tumango nalang ako atsaka tumahimik na kasi may kinausap siya sa cellphone

It was just a 20 minutes ride when we arrived in his condo. He guided me again until we reached the elevator. So he's unit is in the 4th Floor. Lumabas ulit kami atsaka niya binuksan ang pintuan ng condo niya.

Pagkabukas ay halos mapatili ako ng biglang may magsalita.

" Aba naman Zhyken Riz! Madaling araw na pinapabili mo pa ako neto.... " hindi niya naituloy ang sasabihin ng makita ako.

His lips formed and ' O ' before looking at Zhyken who's now seriously looking at him.

" Hi! I'm Renlyn " I greeted and I extended my hand but Zhyken immediately hold it and he pulled me closer to him.

" Aguy loverboy! Jio nalang Miss! " he said and placed an paper bag on the table. " Sa'yo pala 'tong pinabili ng bff ko. Alis na 'ko , ah. Baka nakakaistorbo ako , e. " he said meaningfully.

Zhyken just shook his head and handed me the paper bag.

" Here's your clothes. You can change there. " he pointed the door next to the master's bedroom.

I nodded and went to the guest room. I roamed my eyes and was amazed by the theme. Aesthetic.

The bed was wooden. There's a sliding door for the outside view and a walk in closet. Beside the walk in closet is the bathroom. There's a fake plant on the side table and the wall was painted white may mga art works din na naka dikit sa wall.

I almost jumped when someone knocked on the door.

" Kakain ka ba? I'm going to cook if you want. " rinig kong boses ni Zhyken sa labas

" No thanks! " I yelled.

" Okay , good night. " he said before leaving.

I went straight to the bathroom to take a  shower. When I finished cleaning my body I wipe it using the clean towel that he gave me. There's a robe just above the sink so I get it. May blower din. Wews.

I blow dried my hair before changing into a silk sleepwear that I found in the paperbag. I went to the bed and I covered myself with a comforter before sleeping.

I slept late last night but I wake up early because of the sudden knock on the door. Binuksan ko ang mata ko at saglit akong nangamba ng makitang hindi pamilyar saakin ang kwarto pero nang maalala ang kagabi ay nakahinga ako ng maluwag.

" Hey sleepyhead wake up! You'll get late! " Zhy suddenly shout.

" Yeah , I'm awake now! " I yelled back before going to the bathroom to change.

May binili din si Zhyken na gagamitin kung pang work. It was a beige chiffon top and a white pencil cut skirt. I have my phone with me and I left my things in the office so it's fine if do'n ako dumiretso. May key duplicate din ako sa office. I tied my hair in a ponytail. My hair isn't that straight it has curls on the end.  Pina gano'n ko talaga 'cause I like my hair that way.

When I finished doing my routine I went out and saw Zhyken preparing breakfast. There's an egg , bacon and an hatdog with a fried rice.

" You know how to cook? " I asked.

I look at him and saw him surveying my outfit...again.

" You like surveying my look , huh? " may halong panunuya ang boses ko.

He crossed his arms over his chest before leaning on the sink.

" Yeah , I love the way you dress. " he winked at me.

" Whatever. " I roll my eyes that made him laugh.

I told him to join me so he did. He even made a hot chocolate for me.

While we are eating he faced me.
" May gagawin ka bukas? "

" Aside from work wala na , bakit? "

He drink on his water before looking at me " Let's have a dinner "
