Fables

chapter four

As me and Enderlox walk into the room Jeff says,"Woah what happened to you guys?"

I walk over to a mirror. He was right I looked like a wreck. I had masscara running down my face, my eyes were puffy from crying. I look over at Enderlox and I try hard to hold in a laugh. He doesnt look much better than me. Well he doesnt have the makeup running down his face.

"Give me a second to clean up." I say.

I go to my room I find my cold cream to get off the makeup. Once I was done with redoing my makeup I look for my jacket. I look in my closet. Nope not there. Let me tell you I am a hoodie hound. I own all kinds of hoodies. In fact it is rare to see me without one.  I found it! It is a jacket of my favirote super hero: Deadpool!  The best part about the jacket is it has his face on it and it is a lettermans jacket. It buttons and is red and black.

I walk back out to the group. "So what are we going?" I ask. "Well we want to give you a tour of the town. Also to see if any of the fables will spark the memory of which story you are." Jane says. "We cant go out there! No offense but you guys dont exactly look normal."  I say.  " Well this is when the glamor Jane talked about ealier happens. So once we have the glamor on it will hide anything weird or not normal.  The catch is that the spell runs out so we have to buy more." Jack explains.  As he is done talking a green glow takes on everyone but Jane and Enderlox.  When the glow fades it was like a new group of people I was looking at.

The rips and blood on all their clothes was gone.  Jeffs face was normal hair tamed. Jacks mask was gone. His eyes were such a dark brown they almost looked black.  "Wow it really does work."I say. I button up my jacket and follow.the group and Enderlox right by me. We are in a thick forest."So do we walk to town?" I ask. "No we have a portal to get there." Enderlox says. We walk a little farther down the path. "Here it is . Rebbeca you go last so you can see how it works." He touches a tree limb of this old dead tree like the one from Slender. He looks at thin air as if something was there. He walks forward and vanishes.  The group follows until it is just me and Enderlox.  " Hey dont be scared.You may get dizzy that happens the first couple of times." He walks towards the tree." See you on the other side." was all he said before he was gone.

It was just me left. The forest was creepy all by yourself.  I suddenly feel like I am being watched. I look around and nothing there. I touch the tree and in front of me is a door. I turn the handle and inside is a bright purple light. I dont really want to go in. I hear a twig snap. I walk though the door and before I cant see any thing I see a man standing right were I was standing.

Going though the portal was not what I thought it would be.  It felt like I was falling down an endless hole.  Then it stops and It feels like I am on  soild ground. I stand up and relize that i cant see anything. I can see my hands but it was like being in a world with no color.  I start to freak out not a fan of the dark never was.  Then I see all the color flood back in. I am standing on a street corner with the group. " I was getting worried for a second." Jack says. I feel light headed and start to fall. "I got you." Enderlox say. He has caught me and I didnt relize it but somehow I got me arms around his neck.  He helps stand me up." You can lean on me if you need to. You will get used to it." He says. I lean on him and he has his arm around me to keep me from falling again.

We go on a tour of the town and I relize that we got lost from the group. "Hey were did the others go?" I ask. "Lets go to our reastrunt that if this happens we meet up at. You hungry?" "Yeah I could use a bite to eat." "Can you walk on your own?" "Yeah thanks for the help."

We walk and turn right at the corner. We make it outside this old looking cafe that has a faded sign so I cant tell what it says. We go and sit at a table. "So what do you want to order?" Enderlox askes me." I dont see how I can go wrong with a B.L.T and a Chocolate Dr.Pepper."" Wait chocolate Dr.Pepper is a thing? I geuss I'll try that." The waitess comes and takes our order and then a couple minutes later with our order.

"I like you jacket by the way. Is that Deadpool? Thats my favroite super hero."Enderlox says.  " Wow really!? Thats mine to." I say."Its getting late were are the others?" I ask."Maybe they went home after we are done here we can go home." We pay and leave and try to find the portal.  It was really dark out. Suddenly I hear a crash."What was that we should see what it was." We run back but we see there is a fight.  We hide around the corner looking at the fight in case it gets out of hand.

I see a smashed car in front of the fighting guys. Is that a toad? I wipe my eyes and yes it was he was wearing human clothes. "Ender do you see him?" "Yeah he doesnt have any Glamor on." A girl comes out and goes behind the guys. It looks like a guy in a lumberjack shirt is strangling the other guy. Then all of a sudden the girl takes out an axe and swings it at him. It hits his head and sticks there as he falls to the ground.

I gasp and Enderlox puts his hand over my mouth. It was to late they looked at us."Come on out." The guy said.  We walk until we made it to them. The girl was dresed rather ummm well sluty. " Did he hurt you?" the guy askes."No he didnt but now I need money that this jerk wad didnt even have!" "Come by my apartment I can see what I can do." She walks off. He looks at us." So who are you two? Well I know you Enderlox."  " My name is Rebbeca. Who are you?" "Well my name is Bigby Wolf as in the big bad wolf.  I am the sheriff of here." "Wait if you are a cop why did you let her hit that guy with an axe!?"Enderlox says."Well she didnt kill him. It is hard to kill a fable. I got to get back to my apartment for some sleep ok? I assume since you are with him that you are at Slenders house. Dont worry about anything you saw." He walks off down the street.  We go back to and find the tree.

We are outside the door of the house. I go and hug Enderlox and whisper in his ear"Thanks for helping me out today and lunch." I feel him hug me back and say."Your welcome. After a while we go inside."What happend to you two!?" Jeff says." Well we lost you guys and went to lunch to wait for you guys but when it got late so here we are." Enderlox says." Well I think I am going to bed." I say. We both walk down the hallway. I notice that his room is right by mine."Hey Rebbeca?  I want you to know that if you ever need any one to talk to you can talk to me anytime." A smile is on my face as I say"Thanks and same for you." I walk into my room and I am too tired to change out of my clothes and fall a sleep on my bed.
