chapter 14

I was again floating in the blackness.  Ive been doing this alot latly just getting lost in nothingness.  As I lay there I hear something.  It was very quite at first but then it slowly got louder and louder. I could finally make out what it was saying.  The thing was it wasnt screaming or anything it was like trying to coax a kid to eat their veggies all calm and gentle.  "Rebbeca......Rebbeca please wake up." The voice was a males and i have heard it before. I couldnt quite put my finger on it."Rebbeca please wake up for me...." I suddenly knew the voice. "Enderlox?"I croaked out. "Yes its me please just relax and wake up." Relax? Easier said then done. I did however close my eyes.  I relaxed as much as I could I let my mind wonder. Eventully it landed on Enderlox and thats when I felt things around me change. I didnt dare open my eyes in case it threw me back in the darkness. I felt like I was laying on something. I slowly opend my eyes.

As my eyes got used to the light i relized i was not in my room. This was a bedroom of course. The walls however were a deep purple and had anime and game posters all over. Other things such as a computer and books were in here. I looked down too see that i was laying on bed that was black. I must be in Enderloxs room. Before I can look around the door opens. Enderlox looks at me and i can see all the tension leave his body. He doesnt say anything just walks to the bed sits down and tackles me with a hug.  "I was so worried."he whisperd in my ear his warm breath tickling my skin.  I hug him back "Sorry didnt mean to worry you." i say.  We release and i ask "So what happend while I was ummm.....out?" "Well Lawernce will live and I caught up snow and Bigby on what we learnd from Toad and Scott and Mitch.  I also gave the letter to them and they will give it to Lawernce once hes well enough. The bad news is sadly Darkiplier got away." "Ok thats good I guess I better tell the others im fine."i say and start to walk out the room.

Suddenly I feel Enderlox grab my wrist."Wait can I ask you something?" "uhhh sure." i reply. He looks really nervous and quitly says"Well i was hoping we could have a picnic or something in the forest.....it would be like a date...."he said the last sentence so quite I wasnt sure I heard him. My first thought was OF COURSE! but then panic mode set in No hes getting too close. and tonight is a bad night i would love too but i dont want to hurt him. I relize that I have taken too long to answer. "I-im flatterd i really am but.....im not worth knowing.....in the end I will just end up hurting you and tonight is such a bad night I cant im sorry."I say barley a whisper. He has a look of confusion on his face then says"What do you mean 'your not worth knowing?' Of course you are! You wont hurt me i promise. Dont put yourself down like that." He steps closer too me but I back away a look of hurt in his eyes. "You wouldnt understand.....you wouldnt understand whats its like to be a monster. YOU DONT GET WHAT I HAVE TO GO THOURGH. EVERYDAY I WORRY AM I GONNA CHANGE AND ATTACK PEOPLE OR SOMEONE I LOVE AND I ....i just cant."I didnt mean to start yelling. Enderlox got even more of a hurt look in his eyes....but there was slight anger in there too."you think I dont understand whats its like to be a.monster? I have to live through everyday with what I did to my fans.....I HAD TO GIVE UP ONE OF THE THINGS I LOVED THE MOST.  SO YES I HAVE THE SAME FEAR. IM GOING TO BE THE MONSTER THAT KILLED THOSE PEOPLE. IT TAKES ALOT TO GET ME TO OPEN UP TO SOMEONE...FOR ME TO GIVE MY HEART OUT TO YO-"a blush started to creep up his cheeks as he relized what he said or atleast almost said. I didnt have time to respawn before he said"You know what?I need some air.Forget I said anything." He started to storm out of the room i followed him to say something....anything to say sorry. I followed him all the way to the living room "Enderlox listen im sor-" "No just forget what i said ok? You said yourself i got too close.You dont need me." With that he went out the front door.

I just stood there in shock until someone came up behind me and put a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to see that it was Jack. "Just let him cool off ok?He has a hard time too open to people." All I do is nod and walk to my room. I have too get it ready for tonight.  Anything vaulable i hide in my dresser and i opend my window so I can get out later in the night. Im all set. I decide to go back to the living room and watch some TV.  After a while i notice the sun start too set. Enderlox hasnt come back yet. At this point I start to worry and decide to head out into the forest. I needed some fresh air anyways.
